  1. I'm not allowed to buy a wagon sadly ?
  2. Cost usually. Going with the Powerstroke over the 6.2 liter is a $10k upgrade. I can't find the config with the V10.
  3. Thank you for all the time you've put in here over the years. We all appreciate it.
  4. Yes to rumors, but nothing announced yet.
  5. Good for toughness and more compact packaging.
  6. I'm sure that's true... I, of course, have never driven a turbo-4 and compared it to a V6 in a similarly sized vehicle in a back to back fashion. never ever have I.
  7. You only get it if you have a heavy foot and... thus... rev the piss out of it. Gotta get that boost going to get any torque, otherwise, you're just driving a wimpy little 4-cylinder.
  8. Outside of the luxury classes, but if you wanted to include those, then the additions I can think of are ATS, CTS, CT6 and XTS.
  9. I still much rather have a N/A V6 than a turbo-4
  10. The GS is the only GM midsize left with a V6. There aren't many sedans left outside of the luxury classes with a 6 cylinder. Regal GS, 300, Charger, Impala, Avalon, Maxima, Legacy, Taurus, Fusion Sport.
  11. As does Toyota, and Ford, and Chrysler. They're all good engines.
  12. It doesn't have a 2-speed transfer case, no. I certainly don't see any of the engines having enough low-end torque to do that unless he was flooring it at the time AND it was a 3.5 Ecoboost. Furthermore, I don't think 4x4 models have "2wd mode". Only a few SUVs have that and I don't think Explorer is one of them. Explorer is AWD all the time. Even still, if there was a 2wd mode, it would be the front wheels that had power at the time.
  13. I didn't think we'd see over 7 liters in a production engine again ever.
  14. There is still room for a naturally aspirated 3.6... maybe not as a GS, but still.
  15. Both of you take it to private chat
  16. Back to the GS, one thing where I was really disappointed in was the interior. There is nothing bad about it... it's just ..... dull. 300, Charger, ATS, CTS, CT6.... yep
  17. Higher than CC was I assume. It is a beautiful car in person. I saw a couple in the wild when I was in France over the summer.
  18. Three for our green friend @ocnblu It's easy being green
  19. Only VW could compete with (and beat, they have a coupe with the Beetle) that diversity
  20. probably added too much weight in a way that threw the balance off on the car.
  21. That generation was built first in Germany and then moved to Canada after the first year. The current generation is built in Germany. Most of Buick's lineup in imports these days Regal - Germany Cascada - Poland Lacrosse - US Encore - Korea Envision - China Enclave - US
  22. ...lots of people getting taps on the shoulder today... I worry that the cuts are too deep and too quick. I can't decide if the entire design studio should get the ax or not. Keep the guy/lady who did the CT6, make them the boss, and chuck the rest of them.
  23. just a note that 2016 and up come with Carplay/Android Auto standard. That's a criteria of mine.
