Of course there are!

That sounds like it is specific to Tesla sales though. No reason you couldn't also buy a Tesla from a local Buick-GMC-Cadillac dealer.
-
What have you heard?
-
Even if it did, it probably also makes great torque at 1700rpm also. You always manage to bring Mercedes into a thread somehow..... total fanboi.

Guys....

Great! Now start building the $35k base model you promised.
-
You still fail to understand how horsepower works. This is going to be a relatively slow turning torque monster, not a high horsepower high revving engine. Gotta have high revs for high horsepower and that just isn't a good recipe for a tow truck.

Greenlots acquired by Shell
Drew Dowdell replied to G. David Felt's topic in Electric Vehicles and Alternative Fuels
Eventually, I would expect all new parking garages will be required to be built with a lot of EV chargers in it. It will be an additional revenue source for them.- 9 replies

I saw two in under 5 minutes the other day in downtown Pittsburgh. Those were attractive cars. Very nearly bought one.

In another thread, @ocnblu suggested that charge points would go unused. Every day this week at work the two lots that I park in that have EV charge points have had every single charge point occupied when I arrived at work with some other EVs and PHEVs parked nearby waiting. Clearly, we already need more charge points.- 9 replies

Chicago 2019: Ram's Multifunction Tailgate: Comments
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Chicago Auto Show (CAS)
I think GMC's is better because it is more useful. Technically, the Ridgeline is in this class too since its tailgate opens two ways- 9 replies

The next vehicle has to be an SUV. Easier to get his elderly parents in and out of now that we're driving them around so much. But even still, I'm never allowed a wagon.
-
I'm not allowed to buy a wagon sadly ?
-
Cost usually. Going with the Powerstroke over the 6.2 liter is a $10k upgrade. I can't find the config with the V10.

A Brief Note from Your Friendly Staff Writer
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in The Lounge
Thank you for all the time you've put in here over the years. We all appreciate it. -
I'm sure that's true... I, of course, have never driven a turbo-4 and compared it to a V6 in a similarly sized vehicle in a back to back fashion. never ever have I.
-
You only get it if you have a heavy foot and... thus... rev the piss out of it. Gotta get that boost going to get any torque, otherwise, you're just driving a wimpy little 4-cylinder.
-
Outside of the luxury classes, but if you wanted to include those, then the additions I can think of are ATS, CTS, CT6 and XTS.
-
I still much rather have a N/A V6 than a turbo-4
-
The GS is the only GM midsize left with a V6. There aren't many sedans left outside of the luxury classes with a 6 cylinder. Regal GS, 300, Charger, Impala, Avalon, Maxima, Legacy, Taurus, Fusion Sport.
-
As does Toyota, and Ford, and Chrysler. They're all good engines.
