  1. well, heck, I wish I knew a week ago... I may have been able to snag a laptop for you and I was even in Louisville. I got one for MudMonster.
  2. I don't think so. Either you'd hit the inner fender when you turned or you're rolling on bicycle tires.
  3. Get some body color spray paint and go to town.
  4. Put blue truck nuts on a Chevy Tracker.
  5. Exactly. That's all I'd want in the car. It has bluetooth and XM. I'm good.
  6. Nope. I just built my Camaro again. $24,445 msrp exactly the way I'd want it and then $500 rebate.
  7. Has the price of the Camaro gone up? I haven't priced them lately, but the way I had (base with steelies) they were at 24k.
  8. The advantages of Alpha over Sigma: Lighter weight at the same physical size. Broader range of sizes, can scale down to at least the size of the Chevrolet 130R concept and can size up to E-class size at least. Wide range of engine options... basically anything that GM makes other than duramax can go in here.
  9. Wasn't there someone building Northstar powered Tucker reproductions a few years ago? I can't find it.
  10. POST PICTURES!!! We want to see the project car. Also this..... you can add the car to the C&G Garage in the tab at the top of the page
  11. When I get back home I'll see what I can find information wise.
  12. The Es is not at all 10k nicer than a Lacrosse.
  13. Meh. A '94 Roadmaster has 260 hp from a V8.... But it also has what you really need..... 340 ft-lb of torque.
  14. Well what I was getting at was that if the hybrid doesn't get better mpg numbers than the 335d, what's the point? People who are very mpg conscious aren't going to care about 0.4 seconds faster to 60.
  15. That superchief probably did buff right out.
  16. You have to have the cleanest 200k+ intrepid out there.
  17. Drunk post to your own website....from a cell phone....and try to sound intelligent...
  18. I just want to drive one some day.
  19. Just like the "I don't much care for" thread
  20. The neat thing about the nissan cvts is their ability to accelerate the car without engine rpm increasing under light medium throttle. it is the absolute most efficient way to accelerate a car. I'd say that 8 speeds are probably the top (as chrysler seems to be proving) for automatics and any more than that is just needless complexity that would be better served with a CVT.
  21. It doesn't "feel" right because it doesn't make the same engine noises as daddies car did when shifting through the gears. I didn't need much convincing, but my week with the maxima was enough to sell me on them. Of they can get the ratio spread higher, the CVT really could be the next step after they can't put more gears into the traditional automatic.
  22. The "perfect" transmission is a CVT with a wider range of ratios.... but lots of people won't drive CVTs.
