  1. It doesn't? Well hmph! I'm going in circles. Well, I think its either a Chevy or Theta. Since I was close with my Chevy Theta comment. Its one or the other...or both? Which is it? Argh! *goes on rampage, kills BV for unrelated reasons...feels better* :P
  2. Well then that brings us back to Chevy. Not a Theta, Lambda, or Zeta. Whats left? A GMT-900 pickup?
  3. God, the interiors of the new S-class and 7-series are TERRIBLE!
  4. When I first read the title I thought, "Why is the Southeastern Conference investigating General Motors?" This is what happens when you grow up and go to school in a basketball state. :P
  5. So its narrowed down to Theta, judging by your 'Nox comment. Saturn Theta? If Lambda is large enough to replace a TB or Envoy, then I can see a Saturn Theta below the Outlook (Lambda) in price and size. But then, GMC could also be getting a Theta below the Acadia. The guessing continues.

    iPod Nano

My coworker here has a black Nano. The screen isn't the only easily scratched surface on the thing. If you like your stuff to remain shiny, I'd get a carrying case (if they make them), as your fingernail is enough to scuff the finish on it.
  7. It seems to me that GM is turning Pontiac into "nice, but affordable performance" where Saturn is just as "performance-oriented, but more upscale and pricey," for those that want to spend more. Which is something I don't have a problem with as I'd take a Cobalt SS/SC with cloth seats if it would knock a grande or so off the sticker. Saturn shouldn't and likely won't make Pontiac irrelevant anymore than the Lucerne makes the Impala irrelevant. Sharing a platform doesn't mean they're sharing a consumer target. GMs goal is to get you into a Chevy or Pontiac and as you get older and (hopefully) wealthier, you move up to more expensive Chevy's or Ponchos OR into a Saturn, Buick, or GMC. OR, if you happen to become very successful, into a Cadillac or Hummer. Seems well-thought-out to me. I'd take the cheaper Solstice over the Saturn any day...well, if the damn thing wasn't a ragtop.
  8. You say its no Lambda. Its not a Saturn because their center consoles are raised up a little on the top dash. You say its not a Camaro or related vehicle, which seems to rule out any Zeta car. So that elminates Buick, Saturn, and GMC. Pontiac has no forth coming vehicles that are close-to-production-but-yet-to-be-unveiled, so that rules out that make. Dash is too cheap looking for a Cadillac. I'm guessing Chevrolet. Theta. A little sis for the Equinox? Smaller? Hmmm... Am I close or so far away I can't even smell the exhaust? :)

    iPod Nano

As much as I'd like to have one because of the coolness factor, I just don't NEED it. Yeah, I can store 1,000 songs on it, but I'm still only going to listen to the same 3 over and over again. :P
  10. I debate with my own opinions that, while not grounded in experience, are well grounded. Of course I work in the information industry, so maybe my reality differs from yours? ;)
  11. Saw a Ferrari 360 Spider two days ago on the way home from work., first Ferrari I've ever seen in my life. Driving through the richest part of town during my commute has its advantages, I've seen more XLRs in the past two months than I have since it went on sale. Actually I think I keep seeing the same black, blue and silver ones every day or so, but who's counting? :P Seen quite a few 06 Impy's and HHRs and a handful of C6 Vettes as well. Ummm...oh yeah! Saw a white R-class yesterday during a grocery run. I didn't pay attention to the tags, could have been dealer-owned as the Benz dealer was about a mile down the road from where I saw it. I DID see a CLS 55 AMG leaving the mall last weekend, NICE. Dealer tags, though. Not spotted ONE Cobalt SS/SC, but I also never see one at the closest dealer to me, so maybe they're in short supply? :( What else? Ah, a couple G6 coupes, looks good, but I still don't think the front matches the back very well. Saw a PINK Cadillac DTS Mary Kay car. If you think the DTS is ugly, wait until you see one of these pastel beauties cruising by. BLEGH! I think thats it...for now. :)
  12. I think I'd like to meet razoredge...just so he can see I'm not some snot-nosed kid. :P And kick him in the shin. And teach him a thing or two about how to debate with facts instead of hyperboles. :P
  13. Fly because he's funny as hell. evok and AH-HA, so I can pick their brains. blackviper, so I can kick his ass :P Croc, because we see eye-to-eye on many many things.
  14. 2-door Tahoe ZR-2 Blazer Z71 Tahoe
  15. Pulled up next to a Fiero today. Didn't recognize it at first though...it wasn't on fire. ^_^ *runs away from blackviper!*
  16. Down to 2.45 here in LEX. If it drops back to around $2.00-2.10, you won't be able to keep me off the road!
  17. "Prototype" meaning a 350Z with enough mods to make 2Fast 2Furious fanboys get a woody. :P
  18. With something like that, you're better off just replacing the thing. Its too expensive to repair monitors these days, best to just trash and replace.
  19. Apparently you haven't seen the commercials...
  20. That would make you the best gearhead fansite admin ever! :CG_all:
  21. It really bugs me that Ford, Dodge, and GM to a lesser degree, are using the exact same interior design in some of their vehicles.
  22. At least you didn't call it a documentary.
  23. <<< LEXington, KY.
  24. I consider that a pretty good income. Course, cost of living is lower in LEX than in Detroit...I don't know what someone in my field makes there.
  25. If $15 an hour is poverty level, then I guess I'm up the creek without a paddle, huh?
