  1. Honda seems to release a lot of sketches that look great but the actual "concept" turns out looking very unoriginal. Back in the late 90's I remember an article in C&D where they showed Honda's sketches of the concept that became the TL and the one that became the Oddessey. Both sketches looked great, very aggressive. The actual cars, not so much.
  2. The Mini is so cool and so much fun that I would work around the size limitations.
  3. I wont bother reading the article, I'll jkust say that personally I'd got with the Mini, then the GTI, then the SS/SC, then the other three in no particular order.
  4. But...but...but...the Fit is GO!

I definately agree with Chris, this was a douche move. No conspiracy about Winding Road being a puppet outfit run by Toyota hell bent on making Chevrolet look bad somehow?
  6. I can text while driving, its just something I've been doing for a while and can do without taking my eyes off the road.
  7. The engines may sucks balls but its the transmissions you have to worry about in FWD Chrysler products.
  8. So BV, how did the first phone sex while driving experience go?
  9. YAY! Its 9 degrees outside and my furnace decided to take a $h!. Currently 53 degrees in my house!
  10. No, because most people see the alternative as being better. They'd rather have the added storage of a huge console in between the seats than a dinky fold down one on a bench seat and real cupholders instead of some put in some random place because they wont interfere with the middle seat.
  11. I have a feeling that if there is a GM minivan 3 years from now it will be a rebadges European for people who dont want a Vue/Equinox.
  12. Front benches are rare for the same reason casette players are rare in new cars. There isn't enough demand to bother. Most people who need room to carry 6 people spring for a van or SUV, you can blame the Caravan for the start of this trend if you'd like to. I've had two bench seats in my lifetime, a 1987 Dakota and a 1996 Century The Century was pretty narrow and with the armrest folded up there wasn't much room for that middle passenger. That space could have been put to better use by having a real armrest/storage space that could have included real cupholders and maybe a floor shifter for that rare occasion when I had to take it out of "D". Want to know why the bench seat is dead? Its not the 50's or the 60's or the 70's anymore. Its 2006 and the MAJORITY of new car buyers dont want bench seats.
  13. What Barbra Bush was wearing when George II was taking the oath:
  14. Ok then ocn, what underwear would you wear if you wetre to take an oath?
  15. So would you take an oath on a Brokeback Mountain dvd?
  16. Why would you want to place the female genetalia in a oven?
  17. Or is he.......
  18. The roads are pretty well clear by now but a lot of parking lots aren't clear and these people dont know h ow to drive.
  19. Saw a 5th gen Corvette driven by a guy in his 20's sprin out in a parking lot and hit a parked car. Saw a middle aged guy in a Grand Marquis go off the road whilst trying to make a left hand turn from a complete stop.
  20. They sold 2442 Galants making it their "volume leader" which works out to fewer than 30,000 cars a year. The Camry sells that in a month. Point and laugh time.
  21. Would people be offended if I took an oath for public office while getting a handjob from L Ron Hubbard?
  22. Toyota is probably run by people who are smart enough to not practically give cars away to get fleet sales, keeping their profits and resale values in tact.
  23. Its 9 degrees outside right now. NINE! On the bright side, its sunny and I have gotten really good at driving on ice.
  24. I'm sure there are a couple of them, but what I saw was a 4th generation Corvette.
  25. I saw a C4 sitting on the side of the road. It would have slid further but there was a rather large wall of rock there to stop it.
