  1. Scion Xb + Caliber or Magnum = fugly. QED byatch I am not fan of the "lunch box" vehicle segment myself. I hated the xb, that Ford SYNus concept thing, and now this is added to the hate list. I hope that GM doesn't decide that it needs a lunchbox. // c0ld_phuz10n
  2. Toyota tried to copy the Acura TSX, but they failed. Not the ugliest thing that I have ever seen...but I wouldnt drive it. // c0ld_phuz10n
  3. A long time ago (about 1.5 years) I found this site, and knew when I saw it that as soon as there was any awesome news about the Camaro concept that it would be here. When I would visit the site I would wait anxiously wait for the page to load, knowing that soon there would be pics and the sort to drool over. That day has come and gone and the pics are better than I thought they would be. Having showed the pics to a few other GM fans they all approve, and it has been the same across the board. I show a shot of the new 'stang, the Challenger, then the face melter that is the Camaro concept, and without fail they all say just what we have said...damn thats sexy. Even one of my friends whose Dad just got a 05 Saleene and is a huge Mustang fan even said that it was sexier than the others. Cant wait for the high-res pics and the chops that will follow. // c0ld_phuz10n
  4. Another interesting after market thought is that new Roush G6 that we saw at SEMA, we could start to see more vehicls being tuned as a result of this new business relationship. I think Roush did a pretty decent job of sprucing up the new 'stang, and I would be very curious as to what kind of sexiness that they could bestow on the new Camaro. When we get higher res shots of it I will have a crack at Roushifying (new word for ya there) the new 'maro Also in the last few years hasnt SLP been making Mustang stuff as well? Maybe this would be a good time for them to "play" with another Camaro. Also, some of you might remember several months ago after one of you lads made a nice sketch I had made a request to Yenkofy that sketch after the anouncement was made for the new Shelby/SVT GT500. It would be really cool if we saw either a new Yenko, Copo, or Baldwin-Motion edition Camaros... ...just a few thoughts. // c0ld_phuz10n
  5. Here is a chop or 3 I did (just color change and stripe...need high res) This one is based off of a sketch that I saw, I liked the stripe from the sketch...but I didnt get it quite right, but you get the idea. After looking at some 4th gen pics I had saved a while back I figured I would do the same kind of color scheme. Silver with black stripes, gotta love it. If I could get this in dark blue with white stripes...glee. I would be curious to see what the after market could do with this baby. // c0ld_phuz10n
  6. Yeah I saw it...drooled all over my laptop. // c0ld_phuz10n
  7. D A M N!!! That deserves a happy dance :booyah: Of the "reborn rivals" (Charger, new 'stang, Challenger, Goat...) this is by far the best looking, cleanest, and most aggressive design that has been put out there. Here is my take on the others: I really like the profile off the Challenger concept, but the grill/headlight treatment somehow says "uni-brow" to me. As much as I hate to say it, the new 'stang is a great looking car IMHO. The Charger has a decent enough engine, and the front has grown on me, but I am not in the market for a 4 door. And as much as I liked seeing another RWD Pontiac out there, I am a Chevy man at heart...and the Camaro is just my cup o tea. When I stumbled on this thread, the movie link had been moved and the first shots I saw of it were in someones sig and I immediately wanted to take my 4th gen on a victory lap over to the dealership to get my name on some kind of list. That is one sexy-fine ride. When it is released, I will take mine in some deep shade of blue with a nice set of stripes dropped on there, with as large of an engine, and as good of a suspension package as I can get put on there. God bless you Lutz (and the rest of the design team)...you have done well. Get it to market and I will be in line for one. // c0ld_phuz10n
  8. Holy damn!!! I just tracked down the pics on a 'stang forum all I can say is...thats a sexy beast. Can't wait to see some clearer/highres pics from the show. Its a good time to be a fan of muscle cars. Lets pray they get it out quick. // c0ld_phuz10n
  9. Ah, the old name game again. I dont know, I still think that GM would be a bit weary to bring back the Chevelle nameplate after they got their happy asses crucified over the new GTO. But I wouldn't mind as long as there are enough styling cues to show that it is a Chevelle, but not full on retro. Either way I am just glad that Chevy is getting a Mustang/Challenger competiter back in the ring, the GTO is cool and all, but it feels lonely without a consumerate Chevy by its side. Whatver name the new car gets I guess we will all just have to remeber...rose by any other name would still smell just as sweet. // c0ld_phuz10n
  10. Thanks, I saw that and knew that it had to be my sig. Maddox is the man, but I still dont see how the element ranked lower on the Gary Busey scale of ugliness. // c0ld_phuz10n
  11. :o :) Thats awesome!!! Can't wait to see it. // c0ld_phuz10n
  12. Hmm, not too shabby, I would have to see it in person...but it deffinately takes the cake over the Charger in my book. But I wouldn't get my hopes up too soon, remember that Charger concept that looked pretty slick from a few years ago...now think about the car that wears the Charger badge? About the only similarity between them is 4 doors, 4 wheels, and a Charger badge. I wouldn't mind seeing a few of these out on the road, but there is something about the front that I am not totally sold on, someone a few pages back made the comment that the front looked a bit too small for the rest of the car, and I think I would have to agree. However, if I were given the choice of one of these and a new 'stang, I would probobly go more for the stang. I don't know what it is but there is something about this that just doesn't quite push the envelope for me. I know it looks just like the old car (which I love BTW) but maybe I just need to see some more angles of this beast. C'mon GM lets see that concept that we are all waiting for...just make sure it rocks our faces off. ;) // c0ld_phuz10n
  13. Yeah, bankruptcy isn't always a bad thing in the long run, if the company doesn't drag its feet with the restructure and re-alignment of their business plan/strategy. If they go for it, get the debt monkey off their back for a bit, get the GMT-900's out, get us something nice and shiny on Zeta, and a few more cars that get the media lovin' that the Solstice and Cobalt have received as of late...I thing they could be ok. But I agree with Future_Of_GM, it is a bit scary, I hope they dont start selling of brands. :( // c0ld_phuz10n
  14. Thats good news for the General. I got to drive a Malibu Maxx about a year ago, I wasn't sold on the styling at first, but I relly like it now. It was a V6 with the manu-matic, it was reasonably fun to drive and got pretty good milage. One of the things I really liked about the maxx was the skylight over the back seats, thats pretty damned cool. Go Malibu! :booyah: Talking about the Neon here: Isn't that that bastardized Magnum/new Durango looking thing? I think I hate that even more than I hate the Neon :puke: // c0ld_phuz10n
  15. I guess that I am in the same "soon to graduate college" boat. I would get one. My first car, same car I drive today, is a Camaro V6...I know not what the Camaro was known for, but if has been a good car. I have put more than 100,000 on the odo since I have owned it, and it can still get me from home to college on one tank (almost on fumes but she gets there :) ). Aside from typical wear and tear, I haven't had too many problems with it. If/when they do make a 5th gen I would like a top end V8 in it. And by the time it comes out my tickets will be off my record...8mph over what crap. // c0ld_phuz10n
