    2007 Lexus ES

Thanks to Vince for posting these on his site. http://thehollywoodextra.blogspot.com/2005...exus-es_10.html Glass roof option: http://thehollywoodextra.blogspot.com/2005...7-lexus-es.html
  3. Yes but those loyal Buick customers will eventually fade away. GM needs to be looking down the road ahead, not in the rear view mirror. The next generation of Buick owners (my age group) want modern technological advances. If those remaining older Buick customers are that loyal they'll buy it simply because it's a Buick.
  4. I just usually look the other way and keep driving, although it's hard to avoid them when you're walking around and looking. Hopefully the line up is far enough away I can see them coming, jump back into the car and leave. Last month I actually had a sales guy follow me around the lot on a bicycle!!! "OK pal, you just keep on following me and we're gonna ride each and every row of cars you've got!" I think I even repeated a few rows for good measure before I sped off to the competitor's lot.... Different town and dealer, I had a pushy sales guy who felt compelled to READ THE ENTIRE window sticker to me, line by line!!!! "Dude, you're not reading that to me are you? Cause' if you keep reading I'm leaving, I know more about this car than you do...." Learn your products on your own time not mine.. The huge mega dealer in town (something like 17 brands) is my favorite though, the lot is always open to cruise and rarely does anyone come out and bother you. They don't haggle on price (at least that's what they say) so there isn't the pressure like the other dealers. "You wanna drive this Mr. Customer? Sure thing, here's the keys, have fun and come see me when you get back". Thats the way it should be done.. Now if I could find the dealer who has all the doors unlocked! That guy would have plenty of my spare browse time.....
  5. Yup, it all has to do with religion. Sunday is supposed to be a day of worship, and contrary to popular belief this country was founded with God in mind.. I'm sure most of the dealers are glad to have a day off anyway....It can wait till Monday.
  6. Yup, figure 2 months from job one which is slated for 10/13/05.
  7. I'm currently driving a 96' Chevy Lumina 3.1 with 223,500 miles...and it still runs fine! I hope to keep going well into the spring of 2006.
  8. Man are you kidding me!? Get DSL and never, ever look back at dial up......
  9. Chevy Cavalier.... Big time! Red or yellow Pontiac Sunfire / Sunbird. Nissan Sentra Ford Escort / Focus / Fiesta Toyota Celica Anything Saturn - chicks hate to negotiate or confrontation
  10. Yea what's up with that!? First you can't play your Johnny Cash 8 tracks and now this.........
  11. Yes and when the govt. caps the price of fuel, the refineries and distributors will refuse to sell it at a loss and they shut down. Then we'll have a nice BIG fuel shortage........ Really a grand idea.
  12. That's because the average Buick buyer is dropping..........................dead of old age. :D

    8th gen civic

I think it was Edmunds that was hosting a live chat with engineers who developed the new Civic. That of course is akin to a discussion regarding the finer of taste library paste......... :D
  14. Once again, the regs. for diesels are about to change. The EPA won't go for an avalanche of diesels on the market just yet, they produce wayyy too much pollution at this time. There are several companies working on it and a solution is just around the bend. There's also the tastes of the American buyer, too many people remember the GM diesels of the 80's....... :omfg: Here are some good links on the subjet: http://www.dieselforum.org/ http://www.boschusa.com/AutoOrigEquip/Dies...chnologyCenter/ Read the Bosch article "diesel revolution" by their CEO, it's rather interesting!
  15. Yea, you can buy a diesel Grand Cherokee in Europe. I wish that were the case in the states but once the low sulphur regs. kick in for 2007 we should start to see more advancement in U.S. diesels.
  16. That's the other missing item..........Slap black leather on as an option, throw in a telescoping column and a 3.6 VVT and they'd have one awesome car in the CXL.
  17. Yup, you got it! You can only get Ebony leather on the CXS........... Isanely stupid but that's GM. They should at least make it available on the CXL.
  18. Yes, as a CXS but I can't stomach the mpg with fuel pushing $3.00 / gal.
  19. Not good.... I'm afraid the Tuxedo blue/shale option kicks the CXL out of the running as a possible dark interior, and the CXS while awesome is a fuel hog. So that leaves the Chevy Impala :o or the new Lexus ES 350.... Too bad I can't choose from a Bonneville or an Aurora with black leather, otherwise I'd be buying a GM car next time around.
  20. Really awesome to find this place up and running again! I thought you guys were gone for good.......
  21. Since when is Shale a tan color!? Shale is a dark grey color.
