  1. Here's the '60 El Camino:
  2. You are right Nick and sorry, I worded the question incorrectly, meant this year in general...I edited it. Thanks for the El Camino trivia.
  3. What is distinctive and unique to the 1973 Corvette Stingray? This one year only.
  4. What is the significance of the 1959 Chevrolet El Camino?
  5. Thats a VW tradition to use weird names: Jetta? Passat? Touareg? New Beetle? Volkswagen? and now Eos.
  6. I think this design still looks very current, you add a big chrome grill on that and you are in the game baby.
  7. I want whatever the market and my wallet will withstand. Meaning no matter what, I want a car or truck that is exciting to look at, sit in and drive. Of course I want rwd, V8 power, pillarless hardtop coupe with excellent handling characteristics and white interior. Is that too much to ask?
  8. Can't find what platform this car is based on. One of the engines it will be using is the Passat VR6. And the official name is 'Eos'.....Greek God of the Dawn. And I hope your sister buys the Pontiac G6 retractable. Concept:
  9. I would buy a new Camaro and especially would if they bring it out in convertible as well.

Here's a handsome '63 Wildcat. This year is not talked about much and there don't seem to be alot of them around. I like it.

Yes, the white interior always said 'special' to me....it could make ordinary cars look extraodinary. And yes, please GM bring back red interiors. Richly colored interiors give a sense of luxury. You don't even need leather. Even the dash and steering wheel are white in this '62 Wildcat. It's one of my favorite interiors, love the consul and dash, the deepdish wheel....
  12. ..very interesting bit of trivia....thanks for that
  13. I have been to a great transportation museum in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada. It's unexpected in this smaller city, but it is a worldclass facility. It has a streetscape diarama with the vehicles in place. Even has a 'Drive-in Theatre' with an old movie playing and some cars set up in the scene. It also has a one of a kind Duesenberg Model J. Great automotive gift shop as well. They also have operating vintage carnival rides outside. This museum's collection is massive, there are warehouses and fields full of machinery. It also has an onsite restoration garage and you can watch from a windowed lounge. They have numerous projects on the go at any given time, spotless shop. The museum also has an extensive library of transportation books only. It is worth the trip there if ever in the Calgary or Edmonton areas...it's inbetween those two cities. There is also an aviatiion museum on the site. http://www.cd.gov.ab.ca/enjoying_alberta/m...about/index.asp
  14. AAS, I have always wanted to go to that museum. Do they rotate their collection?....so when one goes there, it's usually something different each time?
  15. I am a huge Buick fan, but to be honest they haven't anything with much dynamic energy or excitement....I can't see any buzz like there was around the Solstice.
  16. There's a CTS in the background of one of the Malibu shots. Is it two-toned or is that an optical illusion? I also think interior designers should consider what their interior colors look like when viewed from the outside, through these greenish tinted windows. That Malibu interior looks ghostly.
  17. Get the GTP version and it can't help but look good.
  18. It is!......it's interesting that it was branded a GM and not one of the divisions.
  19. I never would have thought that was a Buick.
  20. There have been alot of three-wheelers tried over the years by many companies. What is the facination with these?
  21. That's it, Flybiran.
  22. What concept car is this?
  23. Here is the Ford Aurora Showcar for the New York Worlds Fair in '64. It's amazing how all the car companies make use of the same names.
  24. Chevrolet Astro II?
