  1. I like this little company and glad they exist. They have made some very nice sports cars and have had lots of involvement in racing. 2000 Marcos GT: Here's the interior of the latest Marcos:
  2. Look what those Canadians have been up to. The Campagna T-Rex, made in Canada. I want this, the Confederate Hellcat and the Z06. That is all that anyone really needs.
  3. What roller coasters have you been on?...do you have pics of yourself with arms in the air or vomiting? Here is the xcelerator at Knottsberry Farm. Dig the '57 Chevy lead car and it has flames!
  4. Thanks for the photo, it is a true pillarless hardtop. GM, are you listening...please bring these back.
  5. The Crosley, now are they talking about the car or her bum?

    Buick

The very cool, '72 Buick Skylark GS:
  7. Is sixfeetunder available on dvd? Also, Sixty8, your Cadillac emblem sig, is that a poster?..if it is, I have to get one. Here is the 1919 Cadillac crest from the old Clarke Avenue plant. It's appropriate for here as that plant is now 'six feet under'.
  8. rkmdogs, there is a book in there somewhere, you have knack for story writing. :( Sorry about your Buick experience. Here's a tarted up '62 Buick Special:
  9. Flybrian, I had never heard of those other versions of the Corvair...great pics...see, you learn something new everyday at C&G.
  10. rkmsdog, great Corvair stories...love it. Keep them coming...
  11. It is one of my favorite shows on TV. Great topic.
  12. I posted this earlier in what I called the 'the unusual....' thread, here it is again: What is so amazing this is a '38...

    Pictures!

I know!!..there is something about Blu's Batman avatar...it makes me smile everytime...maybe because it's so tiny with those little pointy ears lol.
  14. I would dump the following: 1. Buick Terraza 2. Buick Rainier 3. Chevrolet Monte Carlo 4. Chevrolet Malibu Maxx 5. Saturn Ion 6. Saturn Relay 7. Saab 9-5 8. Pontiac Torrent Edit: I completely forgot about the Buick Rendezvous...dump it!
  15. Honestly, sixty8, that '66 looks still modern and current and it's almost 40 years old!!! I simply love Corvairs. Timeless.
  16. Yep, if they want to make 4-door cars really look like coupes, all they have to do is make them pillarless...it transforms a 4-door into something special. Isn't the new Mercedes-Benz CLK coupe a true hardtop(pillarless)? I mean, people, they even made 4-door hardtop wagons for pete's sake, how sharp is that?....
  17. So is the Zafira the newer version of this, and does anyone know what this is?...
  18. Very good eye...interesting.
  19. Here are some great shots of this car, notice the windsheild and those centre mounted exhaust pipes....and are they red inside?!...nice.
  20. I said 'platform', I should have said 'chassis'. It was based on a Grand Prix chassis according to GM.
  21. ...that was quick!..you are right. Cadillac came out with it the next year. It was widely adopted. I hope this style comes back. There is nothing like driving a pillarless hardtop with all the windows down on a nice day. It looks incredible and feels incredible.
  22. Here's a matching helmut for the '67 Vespa. Maybe I should get a white wicker basket...only trouble is people would keep shouting...'nice basket!'.
  23. of course..post it!
  24. What two cars were the first 4-door pillarless hardtops? And the year?
