What can I say. This 1967 Skylark convertible is simply outstanding. The color, the mags, the 'vents' behind front wheel opening, perfect proportions, the subtle 'scoops' on hood, the tasteful use of chrome, slight bulging of the hood and grill at front ...and on and on.
  3. Excellent. Really like the Infinity symbol :). That is a great chop. It looks very convincing. I always like the tie-in with skiing and outdoor lifestyle with Saab.
  4. Toxic!....that is incredible...I like that alot. Very well done. I like the look of the greenhouse in proportion to the body....it doesn't sit so high as on some cars.
  5. I love olds442's version of the Lucerne as a coupe....love it. It would be fun to see the Lucerne in a 2-door ragtop T-Type version.
  6. I have always liked the idea of a V8 muscle car with minimal options, even down to plain wheels and hubcaps. Something so basic but yet so exciting. I like the contrast.
  7. There is a new GMC Canyon extended cab in white at the local dealer here. They put massive chrome wheels on it. Stunning is all i can say. It transforms this truck. There are some naysayers regarding the Colorado/Canoyon twins. I like them alot. No, it does not have a luxury interior. I don't care. I still like it. In this class, it's the truck I would buy. I like the Cobalt SS a lot as well. I am crazy about the rear wing.
  8. I agree, would love to see the 9-3 in a coupe. It would be fantastic. Any talented choppers out ther want to make it into a coupe?...would be great to see that.

So how about providing a link for us lazy people?
  10. It's interesting to observe the new Mercedes S-class with it's new interior. Very much like the BMW 7-Series. Almost a direct copy.

'Buicks in Moscow', a facinating account of this brand in Russia. I didn't even know they were exported there. http://www.prewarbuick.com/id390.htm

A great site for photos of Buicks (and some others) in an artistic way...quite breathtaking really, is: http://northstargallery.com/cars/indexbuick.htm
  13. I think this design is more successful than the Dakota. I like it.

Not sure who did that boat tail '37. It's a beautiful version of that car. I hadn't thought of that before but that '66 Riv has a similar profile to the Camaro only on a bigger scale. Totally agree about the Reatta and GM's styling of the era. I think the Reatta is an underappreciated car. I have always liked it. Just saw a coupe yesterday...looks so cool when the rear tailights come on...wall to wall....very nice.
  16. Thanks Bimmer325. What a shame. These conventional tailights just don't have the same impact as the frosted ones. I wish they would have at least done a clear lense.
  17. I for one, like Chris Bangle. He kick started design in cars again. Cars (and BMWs) have been on the vanilla and safe side for a long time now. Finally someone took a chance and injected some style. I see these new Bimmers on the street and just love them. The only issue I have is on some of them is the cutline of the trunk seen from the side. Otherwise, incredibly styled.
  18. Me too...I like it alot...something a little different...especially for Saab.

Here is another car that I had not heard of. The Buick Skylark 350 Sun Coupe. Note the full size sun roof with folding canvas top. This was a regular production car and is very rare. (this pic is of a folding brochure, therefore the upside down area). 1972 Skylark 350 Sun Coupe
  20. :) well, not sure how amazing, but thank you for that. I was amazed at stumbliing upon this car...had never heard of it. I instantly liked it.

I am crazy about Buick and it's incredible history. I have much hope for the future of this great marque. 1937 Buick Boat tail custom body. 1960 LeSabre Convertible 2006 Lucerne
  24. The Buick Rainier is actually a very nice truck..I saw a new one at the dealer in black and it had big chrome rims on it. I couldn't stop staring at it...very sharp.
  25. The 1947 Crosley built in Indiana.
