Pontiac-Custom: How about the corner of Pusey and Allwood streets?? Pusey and Allwood, Brantford, ON I'm pretty sure that you're supposed to pronounce it "Pewsy" but everyone says Pussy.

There's also a street in Toronto called Cummer. When they rerouted a part of it, the old road became "Old Cummer". Then they put a Go Train stop there. So you're looking at the schedule with all the normal street names, and then BAM! Old Cummer. It's almost like a maturity test to see if you laugh.

OH yeah - Toronto has an illogical street pronunciation too! Strachan Ave. Said "STRAWN". Why? I don't know.

I appreciate cars that I would never buy. I have a soft spot for the F-body, I've even had a few desktops. Would I ever buy one? No.

So it's possible that the next car I buy will also be from Lordstown. Interesting. So far the only new GMs I've bought have come from there.

One of my grandfathers is from the "Pennsylvania Dutch", but they're really Swiss. Guess that falls under the same umbrella.

Even though it's a base Cobalt, it's something about the yellow. People can tell I like cars.

OK, three things: 1. I will be buying Halo 3, probably the day it comes out. 2. This is ridiculous. 3. I can't help but think that putting indented "Pontiac" script (like the back bumper of the Grand Prix) right where those Halo 3 logos are on the front bumper may not be a bad idea.

Too bad she doesn't like the center cluster on the Yaris. Honestly, as much as I wanted the Fit to be the better of the two cars recently when recommending new cars to a friend, in the end I agreed with her that the Yaris was the better of the two. Lower MSRP, slightly better mileage, and lower weight.

When I see ads from the 1960s of people smiling, I think of the unbridled optimism that existed in the early '60s. When I see ads now of people smiling, I mostly think that they're either smug jerks or it's just plain propaganda. Zeitgeist changes how you percieve things, and therefore changes advertising.

The last time I was at a Nissan dealer was about 3 weeks ago. They said they weren't delivering the coupes yet.

What is awkward about the Altima??? I'd say Altima all the way. The headlights and grille on the new Accord coupe are just awful - they scream '90s styling. The greenhouse and back are not bad, but not as nice as the Altima either. For me it's no contest. Then again it's no contest for me in almost every Honda - Nissan design comparison, I always like the Nissan better with the exception of the somewhat awkward Versa.

I know several coworkers who bought Wiis. They played them like crazy for the first month, then they sat and collected dust. I want a system that actually has good games that come out on a regular basis, a system that I will play for years. That's why I bought an XBOX 360 instead. Sony is pricing themselves out of the market... I'm quite happy with my purchase, it's the best of the three systems for me. Plus it's the only American one which is nice.
