Ignorant Toyota Ass
Just as I suspected, somebody went in and changed the Toyota Wikipedia article to say bestselling in 2006 again, with the editing comment: "READ THE MOTHERf@#kING REFERENCE f@#kING BITCHES!!!!!!! f@#k!!" So I changed it back, with the editing comment: "The "f@#kING REFERENCE" says that they were second to GM in 2006 by 162,000 vehicles, why don't YOU read it??? f@#king Toyo fanboys, only smart enough to read the headline and misinterpret..." This is fun...

IS-F vs. RS4
Review seems pretty fair to me, based on their comments - though I have no personal experience of either car. What's the problem here?

Ignorant Toyota Ass
The Wikipedia article on Toyota claimed that they were the world's largest automaker for 2006. The referenced article claimed that this was true because GM was counting vehicles from their affiliates - so I just found a new reference article and fixed it. I don't want to be the only one fighting this when people undoubtedly change it back - so can some other posters on here keep an eye on the Toyota article and make sure we keep them in line? Thanks in advance...

That's got to be the ugliest thing I've seen in years. I literally laughed out loud at the interior.

The pariahs of our college campuses
The pendulum swings both ways. Maybe someday if America has an idiotic Liberal leader, there will be comedy shows that do a really good job of ripping him/her a new one too. Time will tell - but remember that people are generally reactionary. The current Liberal swing will not last forever. (I am Liberal, but I still realize that this will all end, probably sooner than later)

I could do without the white rims. The taillights, well Altezza has been overdone. The rest of it is quite nice! Badass...

What does your Desktop look like?
I grew up in Brantford, Ontario. Massey Ferguson destroyed that town. Roughly 15,000 people out of a town of 70,000 worked at a Massey plant until the early '80s, when they shut down with no warning and fired everyone. Those who could afford to, moved out and caused a housing crash. Those who could not afford to mostly went on welfare. The city is still recovering in some ways. The population is back, but the housing in some areas still shows years of neglect, and there are still a lot of very poor families that came out of that whole debacle.

Anyone here good at programming in C?
People still use C? I use C# pretty much every day at work. The .NET environment really helps you program. I really don't want to use a normal text editor to program now, just seems archaic. I would have thought they'd at least start you with C++.

One of the reasons why
That's like saying, Is it true you can use food stamps in place of real money in America? Depends on how much the other person values that other form of "money".

Which one?
The real selling point for the Wii is as a party system. If you have a lot of people over who would play video games but are not necessarily "gamers", the Wii is great. My condo is tiny however, I rarely host people at my place.
-
Which one?
I play all 5 games I own fairly regularly. Guitar Hero II (also available on PS3) Tiger Woods 07 (PS2/PS3/Wii) Beautiful Katamari (360 only - odd, since the previous two versions were Sony-exclusive) Forza 2 (360 only - I am ADDICTED to this game) Gears of War (360 only - haven't played it much because it was bought with Forza) Haven't bought Halo 3 yet. Maybe once I finish Forza I'll pick it up, because then I'd have time to play it. As far as the Wii goes, it was a consideration when I bought my system - then I looked at all my friends who had bought one about 6 months earlier. They ranted and raved for about a month, then the system sat and collected dust for the next 5 months. They said it was just a novelty and wore off very quickly. While it is a neat concept, I want a video game system that I'm actually going to play.

It's already here! Hope you like monopoly money!!!

Which one?
This is the one game I will miss by not having a PS3. Play Forza 2 and tell me if you still miss this series. It's been outclassed at just about every release by one game or another. Honestly I'm surprised they still make these. Will be on 360 as well. This series has gone down the pooper. Repeatedly. What is this one? I really have no idea.

One of the reasons why
Ah, you crazy non-Canadians, not knowing Sloan. There is no "lead singer" per se. All four band members write songs for each album - like the Beatles, but slightly more balanced in the talent department. Then they rotate instruments to let the songwriter sing his own song. They're playing on this with the "rock-paper-scissors" for the drums.
-
Which one?
Ummm... not very many decent games?? The only games I've wanted to buy of this generation have all been 360, most of them exclusive. Also it is HD-DVD compatible - via an external add-on drive. I really like my 360.
-
One of the reasons why
Interesting. This is the song that seems to go "after" Street Spirit to a lot of Canadians, I've heard it on the radio like this many times, not sure where the tradition came from. I think the relatively happy Sloan song pulls you out of the funk of "Street Spirit". Sloan - People of the Sky
