  1. Raven: That C-pillar overlap/misalignment always comes off as CHEAP to me.
  2. I thinkMOST new color paletes are too dark, which is partially why I stuck up for that raspberry-bubblegum shade on the cobalt, not very adult but it's nice to see SOMETHING other than dark blue.
  3. The fact that the SIXTEEN did not make it into production will always be a thorn in my side.
  4. Yeserday I had a chance to see a Sky and a Solstice on the road within a few min. of each other and as nice as the Sky is I'd still buy the Solstice because it is the more original of the two. In my opinion each of the two Kappa twins have their strengths, that having been said Saturn doesn't have 0.1% of the Brand heretige that Pontiac does!
  5. Too bad they do not make Packards anymore, otherwise we'd see a four year old Super-8 sedan rebadged as a Chaika.
  6. I thought this was a thread about the Playstation 2. Nick: Don;t make me break out photos of my roasted tires off the '68 Camaro.
  7. Tight as a Corvette but still gives a Cadillac ride. I love the out-going CTS but this car makes the old model seem like a Catera by comparison. The steering (thank god) does not have the dis- connected feel of so many new cars, EPSILONS esp. and the AWD w/ DI models scoot as well if not better than a STS northstar. The interior is a bit Star Wars Episode I. By that I mean it's almost art deco, very well made, gorgeous and well laid out. I'm not one to be thrilled with a new car but this is one product that gets an A+. BTW: $48,3XX was the MSRP and I have to tell it is VERY competetive for that money.
  8. Christ with the amount of re-built FWD transmissions Mopar has to manufacture & ship every year to replace all the blown ones in their Minivans, FWD cars and Rams they should be making a killing.
  9. Hilarious, looks better than a brand new Sebring.
  10. LOL @ Camino Jr. with Rambler wagon. As far as the other one, it was the 1980s, that was metal hair. Speaking of the 1980s:
  11. I like your 1970 better!
  12. If I had kept the car I would have done a vaccum hose delete. All that emissions B.S. just screws up those '70s boats. S.P.'s 1981 Chevrolet Malibu never ran better than AFTER he deleted all the emissions hoses/charcoal canister, ECM & computer. XP and him did the emissions delete job.
  13. Ebony interior. Good news. You can buy it for about $1K a month with $0 if your credit is awsome. It's the FIRST one we got in, the car does not even officially debut for another six weeks, so yeah we didn't quite "sharpen our pencil".
  14. We got one this AM. It's a white diamond CTS4 with AWD. LOW-DEAD! Just under $49K. And guess who was the first salesman to test drive it? Too bad my customer did not like the $718 lease payment. Looks like he'll be driving his 2004 Audi A4 for a while longer.
  15. I left for work today at noon (1-9pm schedule today) and as I pull out of Skyline Drive onto Mammoth Road in my B-59 guess what I see parked curbside? I wish it had been in a parking lot so I could have taken some pics. of my LeSabre side by side with this gorgeous ragtop, even though it's just a lowly Chevy next to my Regal Buick. I've got a lot more sighting pics. comign soon.
  16. XP, as usual you tell it like it is.
  17. You people are boring. :snore:
  18. Not sure weather you're being sarcastic but Fly bought the LeSabre from me. I picked it up in a fishing town in north-estern Massachusetts from a kid who bought it off a guy who brought it out to New England from Nebraska. At one point, this past May I owned THREE Buicks. Not bad considering that I only bought my first Buick ever, my '59 on April 4th of this year. What can I say, they're addictive. And I'll probably be trading my 2-door post LeSabre for a black 4-door hardtop soon. Low-mi. Colorado car now living in Arizona. That's at the old domiscile, the ex. still lives there with my daughter.
  19. Whenever I drove the now famous C&G Bicentenial LeSabre I welcomed a Toyota hitting me, esp. a rear end, which would mean the misaligned rear bumpewr would be replaced on their dime, as well asd their ENTIRE Toyota. I'd love to see a wedge-shaped Prius lodge its ugly nose under the rear I-beam bumper of that yank-tank. Damn A-pillar would be in the back seat at any amount of serious speed.
  20. I see your point, I've had that same thought.
  21. I guess I'm weird, I even like "Golden Pewter", which is really a blue-gray with a pearl-champagne effect from certain angles.
  22. Hey, hey.... this aint Cheero-Habla-o-Gearso.
  23. This is unreal. Honestly, how the hell do you manage to screw up a BOF design so bad the bodys start to rip appart like a cardboard box? Even Ford can;t screw up BOF chassis... their trans. may be junk & interiors cheap but the old Broncos and even new stuff is soild.
