  1. That's the beauty of giving people choice: 2 RWD coupes that look completely different and have a differnt visual feel and yet share 90% of their comopnents: -72 year old Mr. Geezer down the street is happy wiht his traditional looking LS w/ the Landau Roof... -19 year old Billy Leadfoot is happy wiht his "sleek" SS, trick wheels and flashy graphics. Today GM says "Screw choice, let's just shove a bunch of FWD cars down peoples throats... unless they have enough money to afford a GTO, CTS or Vette...." The 80s were not perfect and technology was creeping along slowly in terms of performance but damn for the poor enthusiast it was still better than today's GM. <_<
  2. No Guilt trips, :o it's bad enough I still have not seen that Monte Carlo Fleet of yours... trust me it will happen in the future... perhaps we can plan it in the next year so that one of my roadtrips conincides wiht yours and we'll meet half way. That'd be neat. :) BV: *TWITCH* All Honda fans must die! *SPAZM* I'm doing God's work, if I get pulled over by a cop and he opens the trunk and sees all those bodies he'll understand. And if he's a Honda lover too I'll stuff him into the trunk. I've got enough Cement & Duct tape for allyas! :D All joking aside I remember meeting up wiht a Corvette enthusiast in the middle of Boston right by where Boston Garden used to be. He sent an email requesting some Garaphic Design work related to his Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Ragop. I had a feeling the end result was going to be made into a Law & Order episode. He ended up being really cool, we had lunch and talked about his Corvette, and his wife, I talked about School and my aspiration to own a classic Musclecar. Nothing weird. And besides I've already met BBL, and he's more likely to be a psycho than any of you folks. :P That kid's tall and he could stuff you into the back of his Jeep and hide you places a Police Excursion or Tahoe will never be able to get.
  3. 3 miles wide, I thouhgt they only got as wide as like 1/4 mile or whatever....
  4. Well so far I'm going to meet up wiht GM1, Ocnblu & Balthazar on Friday which should make for a busy day since they do not live in the same neighborhood but heck it'll be worht it! Anyone else game? In the morning to mid day I'll meet up wiht GM1 in Glenolden PA, then in the afternoon I'll meet up wiht Blathazar in centeral New Jersey somewhere and later that night I'll be meeting up wiht Ocnblu in Lancaster, PA. Anyone in the are at those times?
  5. Let's recap: Tarot Cards: SATAN Astrology: SATAN Money distributed by non-Christians: SATAN Hypnotism: SATAN Cameramen who do not believe in Jesus: SATAN I could keep going but I think you get the point.
  6. That Lady reminds me a lot of my Dad... not the religious close mindedness but the crazy outbursts. This lady needs help! What a freekin Psycho. She should have her home monitored by DSS after that crazy bullshit ragefest. Her poor kids are the real victims, the Husband should leave her. It was funny for a while but towards the end of the episode it just turned freekin ugly & sad!
  7. And some from the golden era:
  8. Just a few of my favorites: ^ look closely...
  9. Spread Eagle Shaved Pu$$y.
  10. GM1: Absolutely, if I can drop by for a sec. I'd love to see a '57 Chevy and meet up with an old bud. I have all day Friday to kill, from like 9am to as late as I choose. PM me wiht the details. :)
  11. Sounds like something I'd do, except I'd take a 140 mile detour and end up getting a ticket for a "noise violation". :P
  12. ... 1969 Camaro ZL1 :o :)
  13. He-he, love the new sig. WMJ. About three months ago I took a quick photo of the front and rear of a '59 Olds Flat top less than a 1/4 mile from my house at the local Pizzeria. White/ green. Awosme cars. (almost as cool as the '59 Buicks) 1959 was an incredible year for cars: Caddy, Chevy, Olds, Buick, Pontiac, Dodge, DeSoto, Plymoputh, Chrysler... only some of the Fords leave me unexcited, though they're still pretty cool overall.
  14. C'mon now with all the recent problems with the GA it woudl be a mixed blessing if a tree fell on it in your yard. Cha-ching!!! UNless your insurance does not cover "acts of God" and the Homeowners insurance leaves you high and dry too.
  15. Croc: didn't you ever see Bambi?
  16. Bond in a Fiero? why Not? :)
  17. More so than the "Joshypoo" crap I remember his awsome non-sequitor posts: Like you'd walk in on a conversation about pickup trucks and bed liners and his post would be like: "First off I'm not at all a fan of Hollywood not all the time none, but in the mean time the Squirel barks at midnight and my cast is hurting. DO you think my toilet would get offended if I took a dump in the bushes and by the way why is it that you will call me not this cursor is broken again" Or he'd post a new thread under a title like "Why Not?" and then talk about how many meds he'd taken and how he's high as a kite but all pissy. "After all not that in the end this will might my legs hurt yesterday's Maxx, god I'm pissed you know what this topic is all about?" 7/10 times Harry's posts were like WTF
  18. You mean like 5 miutes ago...  It's alright, not like the PM was private or anything.
  19. Screw visiting you then, my Datsun is about as heavy as an unused Tampon... I'm all set ending up in Kansas, or WORSE! :P
  20. Balthazar: AWSOME!!! If nothing else I can see the car and have a sit behind those gorgeous but dusty gauges. :) WMJ: We'll meeet up when I eventually take a road trip out to arizona. I will do it cause I'm that crazy. Mute: There'll be other times bud, I'm just messin' with you.
  21. *Sniff* Nobody wants to meet up wiht the Panther. :( :P
  22. I was going to PM you back but got this: This member has chosen not to be contactable by the board Messenger This personal message has not been sent Here's your PM: :) Thanks Bud, Ever since you stepped it up a notch with the Grand Am set against the Fall colors I've been trying to out do you. :AH-HA_wink: I had to download that font off some website since the Gothic one I had was crap. Well, take it easy Bro... best of luck with the Grand Am! - Silvester (sixty8)
  23. Not to give you false hope but installing new platinum plugs, new wires and checking the electrical connections to your battery and grounds could solve your problems... Spark Plugs: $14 ($2 each plus tax) Wires from Autozone: $30.00 (at most) Spark plug socket & wrench: $20.00 (if your dad will not let you borrow his) That right there MIGHT solve your problems. Since you car does not have a distributor but runs off of Coil Packs there's no "cap & rotor" to replace.
  24. I'd love to visit MD again... not to mention DC and the Smithsonian. :)
