Honda scores with new pickup line
Balthazar & Ocnblu have said it all. I saw nothing humorous of funny about Ocnblu's post. It was dead on. I feel exactly the same way. And this is coming from someone who actually likes the Element. Balthazar: "last summer with 130K on the clock I towed 5400 lbs 45-minutes..." That's the long and short of it right there.

'New' BMW 2002tii
Read it in Autoweek last night. I love 2002s. About ten years ago I saw one in EXCELLENT (over-restored) condition. It was medium green and had the early 70s round tail lights. WE were driving along in the middle of Massachusetts coming back from Lyme Rock Raceway. They're so small.... it's like a Mini Cooper sedan.

Before the Ridgeline there was...
Wow... even though the Beatle has riden off into the sunset in Mexico they still manufacture the Microbus in Brazil! B) Hook Me up VW. I've got $5700 burning a hole in my pocket and I need fuel efficient, low maintenance Van but I hate replacing water pumps. Sell me a brand new Kombi.

Before the Ridgeline there was...
A functional exhaust stack on a VW Pickup? Bitchin. Did it have the flapper valve? Griffon: Wow, this is news to me. Those Crazy Brazilians. B) NOw see, I like this. It's not nasty wiht a hideously grotesque nose and styling that tries to make it look badass or tough. If the Ridgeline had the styling of an Accord or even a Tundra I'd be less disgusted by it, but as it stands the styling is like a Fashion Don't in the Automotove world. That whole pile of crap is like a rolling train wreck. I've seen Cold War Era Russian COE Trucks that are less gross looking than the Ridgeline. This thing does not try to be a truck as hard. It's Just a VeeDub with a bed.

Nissan Note
I'm really begining to like this. If I was going to buy a 5-door econobox I'd get this thing. The blue-gray tint of the bumpercover and molding actually looks decent compared to the typical gross-flat-charcoal-gray. This thing is cool. I give it an A- I'm serious I like it. :)

Is driver chivalry dead?
That's me in a nutshell. I'm also a beliver in Karma (good & bad) So for every time I'm in a Hurry doing 105mph on the highway to make up time, I slow down around town and yield even when I don' have to. You make frinds that way too. The other day I saw some random person walking a dog in Acton and waiting to cross the road on a backroad where people speed badly. I slowed down and let them cross the road wiht their little Yorkshire Terrier. Too bad I'm not single anymore because that someone turned out to be a Super Hot MILF and she definately gave me "the look" after her initial smile and wave. She crossed the road, looked over her shoulder at the Coupe DeVille and made searing eye contact with me. Insert cold shower joke here. ----->

What is the automaker of your primary car?
Check out the trick plate that I found at the Junkyard on a Mercury Garnd Marquis Colony Park. It matches the Firethorn paint perfectly... and this is even sweeter: keep going still not there.... wait for it, YEAH, a White Sheep Wool Steering Wheel cover. I'm trying to cover that ambiguous no man's land between PIMP and Great Grandpappy. When you have a white leatehr interior and white Vinyl roof all can be forgiven.

Spot the error!
YEAH! That would be about the only way Buick would get me to buy a Lacrosse. No, but serously here's a list of GM cars from the last 20 years that have lacked a Manual Transmission and SHOULD have had one available: - 1999-up Grand Am GT - Grand Prix GT/GTP - 1994-96 Impala SS - 1987 Buick GN - Northstar powered STS/Eldorado - 2002-up TrailBlazer - Cadillac Catera - 1997-up Malibu

Your favorite Impala model year
First off I can respect and understand Balthazar's view point... But I DO love many Impalas and almost bought a 1963 2dr Hardtop/283/powerglide and on another occasion considered buying slightly used 2000 LS. I will not be boxed in. I will now name in no particular order Seven of my favorites: Why seven? Why not! :P This white one is exactly like the one I almost bought.

LA: That Avatar is funny as hell. Care to explain? :P You see all of my family and Marica's family is here in The Commonwealth of Massachusets. Or as I like to call it the Communist Land of TAXachusetts. I'd love to live in Arizona since I like the weather/topography out there and I miss my best friend Duffy who moved three to Fountain Hills in 2002. :( Another great opption would be Pennsylvania near Hershey &/or Carlisle or even in some of the semi-southern states like Virginia or No. Carolina. But truth be told I'll probably live out most of my life here in New England. I do love NE in the fall and it does have a great charm.

2006 Chevrolet Impalla review
While down in NJ I checked out an '06 Impala at "Malek Chevrolet". It was a tiny little dealership wiht like 20 cars on the lot, and Malek is a Slovakian sounding name that is a play on words meaning "small" to boot. I'm not kidding, like 20 cars! Anyway the gunmetal gray Impala they had actually appealed to me somewhat. I actually liked it. Still it should be called a Biscayne and should have a RWD big sister called Impala or Caprice Classic.

Oh, lighten up. It's a GM board and besides there's no harm in a little friendly ribbing. You want to make fun of me? Dude... have a field day. I drive an 1984 Datsun. Enough said. [thinks to himself: at least it's a 5-speed and RWD]
