  1. LOVE IT!!!
  2. Wow, Jay-more has lived the life! I'm jelaous. I want to find a survivor '59 Buick Flxible hearse. 49 were made only one survives officially. There HAS to be at least one sitting in a barn somewhere! :( If I find one I'll give the owner a filet knife and a glass jar and let him grab my right kidney so that I can drive/tow/push her away!
  3. Mustang84: Wow! That's tragic in a "only happens in the movies" kind of way. Wish him well, that kid needs & deserves a miracle. Ocnblu: Not only do you always make me laugh but you always speak the truth... I'm going to come down soon and visit you soon! I'm palning a HUGE roadtrip for this January or possibly next spring. I'll try to meet al you NY/NJ/PA C&Gers! If I win the lottery I'll show up he next day in a '69 Camaro, '59 Buick or '61 Caddy. :)
  4. Ford lincoln/Mercurys are notrorious for crappy brake light switches... I had to snap mine back into position on my '87 Cougar like four times in the time I owned the car. (two years) Each time it was thanks to friendly motorists who spent the time/energy to let me know I was brake-light -less. Still I do miss that car. The digital dahs on it was awsome! Ubber-80s in a wicked cool way. Now as far as reverse lights I traded the "super-white" blue bulbs out of that crapbox Mazda I bought with the regular bulbs in my Datsun and waht a differance. These guys light up SOOO much brighter.
  5. Yup, our state sucks. It's run by as bunch of beurocratic morons!!! Now as far as the wholething wiht this side marker, I was going to tell you what you already know. The later '96-98 GAs have a one piece lamp cluster that eliminates this kind of guess work.
  6. Less than 10 weeks away! Can't wait!!!! :)
  7. While Fly does have a point, I love it and would love that for a daily driver! ...just make mine a HEMI. :metal:
  8. Someday, after I win the Lottery, buy up about 130 classic GM cars and am sitting aroud bored, I'll hack up a 70s Rolls Royce and MAKE a replica of the "Homer" and hack up a '85 Fleetwood Brougham and make Honer's pink car. :P
  9. Very true! However I wouldn't loose any respect for Knightfan if he bought an '06 Charger... those cars are hot. :D
  10. If this thing ever makes it to Mass you'll find out when I become the first to reap the consequences of that same action... How cool would it be to pull an American grafity on this POS? Chain both rear suspension assbembly's to a hydrant adn blow past him in a generic vehicle at like 100mph in a 25mph zone.... Just thinking about it makes me smile. :P
  11. I remember seeing this and thinking: Wow, I misjudged you GM... the Alero has some real potential. This is HOT!
  12. That was a great Homer moment. "I'm not going to lie to you Marge..." -- long, drawn out blank stare -- How about when Homer's Bootleg factory in the basement is exploding and he's in bed trying to distract Marge from hearing it: [random conversation] ~ Boom!!! ~ [random change of topic] ~POW!~ [more random conversation] ~ Pow! Bang!! ~ [continued conversation] ~ Booom! Bang-BANG! ~ [MORE random conversation] ~ Ka-Blamo!!!! ~
  13. Caprice: I'll trade you a beat up 1983 Volvo, roll of masking tape, 120 $.37 stamps, a 12 lbs. box of random Japanese car emblems & a rotted out Boat trailer for that beauty of a Caprice Classic. I'm serious. Ball's in your court. Alright, I'll throw in a 25 year old Stop sign, can of Spagheti-Os and a bunch of old college textbooks as well. C'mon! Work wiht me here! :P Seriously, I love those cars. NOw as far as BV is concerned, get that Grand Am, it's hot! Shaved dor handles on a mid 90s Grand Am? That's cool! I'd do up that baby lke a tail dragger. Pin striping, lowrider stance and even the louvres on the hood! No windshield visor though.
  14. WTF?! That's kind of funny, whoever is trying to impersonate Harry did a decent job... why is Josh always the target though?
  15. The fact is Toyotas ARE over rated and in many instances do not live up to their Hype. The Prius fell short by quite a bit in terms of real world Fuel Economy.
  16. Yup, when going wine tastig or out to a Five star Restaurant they drive the 6.0 liter twin turbo Bentley, but to a big Hollywood evet they show up in a POS Toyota Prius.
  17. Absolutely. Cash is awsome! That last album is just creepy to listen to. Awsome but depressing at the same time. I've listened to it like a 100 times since I bought it this summer.
  18. About 15 miles north of me up in Merrimack NH is a huge Budwiser Brewery. They have a "Buick only" shjow every year but in reality it's unofficially a B-O-P event. I attended in 1999 but have not been back since. Gotta stop making excuses and get up there. Other than that there's a few olds School Burger Joints, Ice Cream Stands and empty parking lots that fill up wiht classic care once a week or month here in Mass. And of course there's the Summer Nationals in Worcester every year. HUGE event. People come from all over the country. That's the event wiht the oldest and biggest Burnout Contest. :)

  20. This should have been a poll, I'on the fence here... I don't say "im-PAL-ah" like Chevy but I dont't say "im-Paula" either... If I had to try to explain it in this messed up languiage of our where Phoenetics are nonexistant I gues it'd be: "im-Pah-la" I don't know, ESL remember. (I guess I agree wiht Croc this time)
  21. I'm wiht FoG, not neccesarily hate "Fiddy Sent" but I think he's highly over rated. M&M does grow on me, I've bought a few albums and loved 8-mile. Great movie IMHO.
  22. BV: That 240SX is something I would love to own... not too many nice ones left that have not been wrapped around a telephone pole, turned into drag cars or cut up for drifting. Ross works wiht a kid at Autozone that has a couple of them, a beater with rotted out floors and one he's restoring. The other day I pulled up in the Coupe DeVille and he wa leaving work and he laid a patch like 30 feet long as he fishtailed out of the parking lot. If N.J. is too far for you I'm going to tell him about htis car, he'd probably travel that far to pick one up if it was in good shape. I love RWD Nissans/Datsuns. (as if you guys didn't already know) Now on to the matter of this ASC/McLaren Turbo GP... do it, buy it!!! It's as rare as eyebrows on eggs! Sure the turbo probably needs to be rebuilt and the car will have certain hard to find parts but damn, imagine rolling in that bitch into a carshow... that'[s a neat car. I'm stil kicking myself for passing on the green one up by the Dragway I saw for sale in 2000. It was a green coupe (they made more 4drs!) and it had all the gold crap on it. Stick, Turbo! Get that Garnd Prix, you can talk them down to $3800 or so if you have cash! TRUST ME! (money talks, bullshit walks) :) Good luck Bro.
  23. Chrome, front emblem and rear A U R O R A text are already sitting pretty in my Oldsmobile emblems drawer. Decent shape but not mint. The poor Aurora was trashed. Windshield smashed in and all side swiped on both sides. *Eeeekk!* The interior was black IIRC, so if you need a trim piece I can take a look to see if it's stil there. (unless your interiro is gray?)
  24. I understand that Fly, but ther is a huge following for Prof. cars. There's clubs, fans and carshows all ver the world. I see timeless beauty in certain Hearses. This is a nice example IMO. :)
