    Ford Slashes Ford Mach-E Price

Following Tesla's price cuts, Ford drops the price of the Mach-E by as much as $8,100.

Ford has cut the price on the Ford Mustang Mach-E EV by up to $8,100 on some trims in a move to increase sales and keep the price war with Tesla going.  Tesla has recently been aggressively lowering prices, with some models seeing as much as a 20 percent decrease. This move follows a similar price cut by Ford around this time last year that helped make the Mustang Mach-E the number two best-selling EV SUV on the market.

The Premium trim with the extended range battery sees the biggest price cut of $8,100 while the two GT trims cut $7,600 from MSRP.  The base model drops $3,100 off MSRP and moves the Mach-E base price under the $40,000 mark for the first time.

In addition to these price moves, Ford is offering a $7,500 incentive when leasing through Ford Credit on top of the $7,500 federal tax credit for EVs. The Mustang Mach-E only qualifies for the federal tax credit when leased do to the battery supply chain.

While these prices are only for the U.S., Ford is planning on increasing global production of the Mustang Mach-E. With these new price changes and incentives, plus Ford's move to join the Tesla Supercharging network, Ford is hoping to see a significant increase in sales.

Putting it into perspective, even before the tax credit and the lease rebate, this makes a RWD Select Mach-E cheaper than a Chevy Blazer 3LT V6 FWD.  Likewise for an AWD Select and Blazer 3LT V6 AWD.

A Mach-E Premier AWD Extended Range is only $1,100 more, before rebates and credits, than a Chevy Blazer Premier V6 AWD.

    • I had a rental in white like that with a sunroof for 3 weeks in 2017 when I closed on my previous house before moving back to Ohio from AZ..it was quite pleasant.
    • Scott Pelley delivered the 2025 commencement speech @ Wake University and it is an amazing listen. Just go to the 22 min mark to see his honorary award of doctorate or to 26 min mark for his speech. QUOTE: "Our sacred rule of law is under attack. Journalism is under attack. Universities are under attack. Freedom of speech is under attack, and insidious fear is reaching through our schools, our businesses, our homes and into our private thoughts." "Power can rewrite history with grotesque false narratives," Pelley warned, according to the HuffPost. "They can make criminals heroes and heroes criminals. Power can change the definition of the words we use to describe reality. Diversity is now described as illegal. Equity is to be shunned. Inclusion is a dirty word."
    • Even this option is gone.  This is a white Passat with the light tan interior.  I could have very easily seen myself in the Passat in that light metallic sand color with this interior. I really liked their taut roadability combined with a smooth ride. * sigh *
    • It has been interesting to play with, some AI sites it does make a difference, others no. Just have to play and explore your own creative side.
    • Considering these are just images, does "EV" or "ICE" make any difference? I can't imagine it should.
