If you cut off a Prius and jam on your brakes...

Its okay, because you're giving him more electricity.  :P

P.S. Will Prius drivers stop going 55mph on the interstate because they can't get more than 40mpg driving like a normal person?

Great story......

I was driving a Mustang GT (got to borrow one for a couple of days) and I was in the fast lane on the 405 during the early parts of rush hour.

Next to me, in the carpool lane, was 5 hybrids in a row.....Prius, Prius, Civic, Prius, and Prius....all with single drivers and their cutesy little yellow "carpool lane" stickers.

Funny thing was? The carpool lane was JAMMED with traffic......while the fast lane was moving at a decent clip.

I OH so enjoyed outpacing those smug, single-occupant-driving-in-the-carpool-lane-'cause-they're-cool hybrids....all the while looking at an "average mpg" on the Mustang's trip computer of 14.8mpg....

Hey, its like I've said before. I even have a good mileage getting car. Its 5 years old, has the "coarse" "decrepit" "insert deversive comment" 3.8L V6 in it and still turns roughly 32mph without trying.

Watch out for cops.

hehehe... "...and still turns roughly 32 MPH without trying."

Sorry bud, it was funny when I read it. :AH-HA_wink:
