T1G#T WH!P$ TROPHY TRIVIA

In the next few weeks I'm going to post 59 different trivia questions

of all different forms on C&G. Multiple choice, photo identification,

photo match up & even some true or false. Some questions will be

multiple part and others a simple one word answer.

At the end of the 59 individual trivia thread questions all the winners

will be added up and a trophy will be mailed via the USPS to the

over all winner of the first annual Tight Whips Trivia Trophy.

That's the '55 Merc D-528. It was "designed and built to test advance concepts in air conditioning, seating, ingress and egress, lighting, front frame crash absorption and Ford’s first car without A-pillars".

"it was assigned the name D-528, which meant the 528th "Design" project started at the Engineering Department."

It survives today (if it isn't obvious the pic is current).

had a very mid 1970s look to it.

Yep. Sly, you fooled me. I was looking through all kinds of concept pictures, but didn't go that far back, because I didn't think the styling was that old. I only went back to about '63.
