Velite/Riviera update

It's not much but here's what Buick GM Steve Shannon said yesterday

Shannon admitted that he'd like to see a return of the Riviera nameplate on a "halo" model based on the popular Velite concept car of 2004 (pictured above), but that is a low priority at the moment.

I really don't see this happening until at least 2013. Buick could use other models first such as a smaller-than-Enclave X-over.

Thecarconnection has a story about buick where it is said a RWd buick is being developed to be built both in china and the US. Since they give a 2010/2011 time-frame in the article, I'd say that will be the time the G-body Lucerne is out of the picture...
