One of the highlights of the car hobby for me is the Ocean City, MD Spring cruise-in. It is a spectacular event, a Spring break-out of every kind of hot rod, muscle car, and everything in between automotive.

I just reserved a room at the Rehoboth Beach Guest House (closest I could get to OC, everything's full there by now), so I'm set. I'm wondering if anyone from C&G is planning on going, maybe we can meet up.

Here's a link:

you're not fooling anyone saying that the reason you booked Rehoboth is because OC is full. :alcoholic: :AH-HA_wink: :P

Nope, I'm not. And Rehoboth is full of something, but it's not alcoholics! :smilewide: :AH-HA_wink: :P

My parents have a conference in Virginia Beach that weekend, so I won't be there. Oh well, there's always next year.

Noooo, I mean cruisin' the old fashioned way, in cars and trucks. Not that annoying, scary "stare" from that 65 year old dude in the mall bathroom. :AH-HA_wink:

Hey, I very well might be. We live minutes from Rehoboth, I work there, and that's where we're always at--OC not so much, but it's just a hop, skip and a cruise down Route 1 along the ocean.

May just HAVE to come, to give the Fleetwood a nice cruise and show off since I'll finally be back down from PA for the summer by then

OK, I will dredge this topic up again, closer to the time. Maybe all of us who are going to be in the area can meet up and check out some vehicles. I can't wait.

I wish I could. It must be a great event!!!

I wish I could be there. Haven't been to OC, MD in 7 years. Trying to plan a vacation with my wife to there hopefully next year. Season hotel fare is just so expensive for a hotel on the boardwalk below 32nd street.

Have fun, man!! Take some pictures.

Ok, it's Wednesday evening, time is drawing near. I am leaving work at noon on Friday to head down to OC. If anyone wants to meet up, shoot me a PM, or reply here.

I will try to post some pictures. The weather forecast isn't the best, either. Edited by ocnblu

I think I'll pan on this even next year.... unless someone in the mid-west

is digging up a timecapsule with a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham with

15 miles on the odometer that got burried when new. Aside from some

other roadtrip like that I do not forsee much stopping me.

Yeah, I just didn't make it, at least not yet. My brother was down there all day Thursday, but that's about it.

I looked around for a Marblehead Fleetwood in Rehoboth and OC, to no avail.

Surprise, surprise, the weather was actually decent! I was shocked. I got tons of pics, I'll post them in this thread soon.
