Went to see Transformers last night with Julie & a few friends.

I was very happy with the movie. Let's just say that it's quite

possibly THE best movie of all time.

It makes Casablanca seem like a B- rated porno. By contrast

Gone With The Wind would be a made for TV Lifetime movie &

Citizen Kane would be Speed 2. :P

All joking aside here's 10 reasons why the movie kicked A$$!

10. Even a 1974 Camaro rocks given some TLC & a little faith

9. Mustang = BAD, Camaro = GOOD

8. If Transformers DID exist they sure as hell WOULD only disguise themselves as RWD cars...

7. As cool as it was the catroon can't hold the candle to todays CGI

6. The Energon Cube makes a Rubick's Cube look like a chewed up nerf ball

5. Optimus Prime looks awsome as a hybrid of a Kenworth W900 & Peterbilt 379

4. See number 9.

3. I bet there really is something sinister behind the Hoover Damn

2. Best product placement for Chevrolet, Pontiac, Cadillac, HUMMER & Saturn ever.

1. Camaro IS my other Jesus and as such does save the world

So there you have it. :)

11. Roush Mustang = Badass

Anyone see what happened to Barricade? I saw the movie again last night and never saw him after the highway chase seen.

1. Barricade was a Saleen, and 2. No, he wasn't there at the end. My guess is his end got edited and it'll be an extra scene in an extended edition that explains why Optimus was so late for the final battle. Hopefully, it'll end with him getting away, because I'd really like to see him in the next movie. In his lines, he definitely established himself as a bad cop sort of character.

Sixty8, that chop is awesome. Hasbro really should release a line of Transformers that are based off of classic cars.

Oh right, my bad...I keep calling it a Roush for some reason :duh:

I too hope he gets away, he was badass both as a Decepticon and as a Mustang...I'd liek to see him in the sequel too.

Megatron will be back...possibly as Galvatron?

Thank You Sir.

I spent two hours on that. 90% of the time was spent

finding photos of my car at precise angles to use for

individual body panels etc. Julie was semi-critiquing as

I was going along and laughing at my efforts.

And I agree I want to see a few "classic" Transformers

in the next movie. Maybe a 1973 Pontiac T/A SD455,

1961 Cadillac & 1972 Buick Riviera...
