The B-17G that I saw at the Lawrence Airport this AM.

Thanks for giving me a heads up on that.... It's been

abotu 12 years since I saw a B-17 in flight & up close.

What a gorgeous beast.

These days airworthy examples are MORE rare than

the Veyron but in 1945 there was more B-17s in

operation than Bugatti has made cars in their entire

history. The B-17G I saw this mornign was delivered

in May 1945. I'll post photos later.
