Cobalt SS spanks Nissan Skyline

Featured Replies

During a recent taping of "Street Tuner Challenge", a mildy modified Cobalt SS pounds a Nissan Skyline, as well as a nitrous snorting Jetta. All cars were clearly at the limits of tire adhesion, as the little Cobalt had the best lap by more than seven full seconds. Too bad so sad. It was at Buttonwillow Raceway park, and it's coming up on Speedvision...Watch it if you like that sort of thing. :P no joke.
I saw that. They had some issues with the Skyline, IIRC, and maybe I'm just ignorant, but the stock Jetta looked about as dynamically stable as a Cutlass Ciera around those turns...floated like a bitch.
Thanks for the heads up. Ill be looking for it, wonder what exactly Im looking for ? "Street tuner Challange " ? Cobalts proving to be a pretty competitive little car.

Wow... that's just crazy. I gotta see that. Even a poorly running Skyline is still a force to be reckoned with.
