Keeping it running

Recommended Posts

Our 97 Safari has 132,000 miles and after almost selling it I've decided to keep it.

Other than fluid changes, keeping it clean and clear of Ohio road salt, and making sure it gets regular excercise what do you suggest to keep this thing "on the road?"

Mobil 1 it may well be. The dealer inspection thing makes sense also, they would know what usually goes wrong.

Thanks!

Chris

I'd go with a blend oil though....just because of the milage...a full syn oil may leak though places of wear( does a good job cleaning them out)...

With a blend oil-you get the extra protection without having to worry about the leaks....

I'm working on my mom to put a blend oil in her 99 Astro.....
