Hot Wheels - Sept 4

Recommended Posts

Ever notice that fresh paint/die-cast metal/injection molded plastic SMELL that

emanates when you crack open a new Hot Wheels car? The other day I was

at he store and told Sofia she could pick out one new Hot Wheels car, to my

delight she picked that same '69 Chevelle but in black-metallic with a chrome

interior and gold pinstripe.... later outside when I opened it for her it made me

think of all those other hundreds (actaully, couple thousand) that I've opened

over the years. Also recently got her the '69 Cadillac sedan deVille hardtop

from Matchbox in Aztek gold. pointed out to her that it was a true hardtop.

she's all "Dad you know EVERYTHING about al kids of cars and panes!"

(I wish) still, it's nice to be looked up to by a little one, kids are awesome. :globe:

Tis irrelevant, they are the same company. MB & HW that is. Although it is interesting that both lines tool the same car with different tools. A blue ZR1 just appeared in the MB line that is separate from the HW above.
