Blue line of death?

Featured Replies

I have an NEC "MultiSync LCD 1765" monitor, and it has a vertical blue line about a third of the way across the screen. Should I be prepared for the worst? Will it operate indefinitely like this? It is only slightly annoying.

try to reseat the cable then beat monitor while it is off. then buy a new one.

That would work too.

Beat off what? :o

I can sell you my Dell 19" Ultrasharp flatscreen for $50.

If beating it softly doesnt work then it is broke unless you have a Warranty on it. To many consumer products have become "Disposable"
