A modern car that goes 200,000 no problem is not all that special.

in 1937 pontiac put out a slogan every car built to last 100,000 miles... 70 years later, they have only doubled it... is sad...

but its true most cars dont last much past 135k...

This is the posters third or fourth consecutive Saturn with over 200,000 miles. I was most impressed with one that he sold to his mother with 230,000 miles on it.

I have to apoligize for making the topic title too long as the end of it was cut off. It was to be satire and read that too bad Saturn and GM can't build good cars like Honda and Toyota. Just a little bit of sillyness.

The S-series has always been a high mileage car (As are most FWD, 90's domestics contrary to popular belief)

I still think a 10 year/100,000 mile warrenty would go a LONG way in curing GM's image problem.

Never knew Saturns are this reliable. Though I can assume he doesn't hammer his car.

I use one for a station car its real reliable. good on gas, but it is boring
