Dodge Muscle Car's Axle Darts Away

Featured Replies

EDMONTON — Astonishing dashcam footage posted online shows the back axle of a muscle car becoming completely detached from the vehicle.

The video captures what appears to be a red Dodge Dart passing the vehicle with the dashcam before jerking and halting in the right lane.

I'd be hopping mad if my axle jumped the gun and darted away like that. Then again if I'm driving like a anal jizz cannon on public roads like that, I'm asking for it.

Wow! If that axle flew the other way, those two would've been in trouble! Guess they dodged that one!

This happens when muscle cars neglect leg days.

I can only imagine the embarresment that guy felt. Still, it's lucky the axle didn't go across into the other lane or something.

WOW, I wonder if he did not use the right bolts to hold it all together. That is amazing and they are lucky it did not go into their lane of travel.
