Hyundai Motor America Reports March Sales

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyundai Motor America today reported sales of 69,265 for the month of March, down eight percent versus a record-setting March 2016. 

Hyundai Division posts sales of 67,510 units 
"Tucson, Santa Fe and Elantra were the bright spots for the month, while softness in the mid-size sedan segment continued," said Derrick Hatami, vice president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America.   "Ioniq models are now arriving at dealerships across the country, broadening our consumer base and appeal to a wide range of buyers." 

Genesis Division posts sales of 1,755 units 
"The Genesis brand gains momentum as G80 and G90s continue to arrive at dealerships," said Erwin Raphael, general manager of Genesis in the U.S. market.  "Sales were up for both models over February."
