  2. I'm too lazy to change my handle. I'm very on board with your assessment. Bob is sort of pedestrian. And not even used that much, with people tending to use Rob nowadays. The only issue I have with Rob is that it sounds somewhat "frat boy." Robert is probably the best variant and it's what I use on a daily basis. My parents and relatives append(ed) an "o" to it, which is/was to be expected. @David Hope your hand heals up. I've been through a different sort of injury with a hand. Fortunately, it was the hand I don't use that much. However, during the healing phase, I was away and, during that Easter season, I pushed myself to kill two birds with one stone that last Friday - Good Friday observance AND unlimited mini lobsters at Harvey's hotel/casino up at Lake Tahoe, which has long been discontinued because I'm thinking there was no way it could pencil.

  3. For company that is bleeding money, this is to be expected and understood as most of the tooling for the polluting ICE models are paid for, so it makes sense for the business to focus on selling ICE for now. But this is NOT a boondoggle as you call it. They are doing Business 101 common sense to survive during a pandemic that is going to hurt the world for years. Yet you would rather Huff Coal and live in the stone age of ignorance. Enjoy your out of date future.

  7. Probably no panels in common. The ES is based on the Camry platform, though.

  8. Nothing remotely to do with the Camry. You are thinking of the ES. The GS has a proper RWD platform, not transverse engine FWD shit. I've read the GS is decent sports sedan.

  9. i know what you mean but then people will complain it's "too small". There's no solution that will please everybody. You don't owe 25k...??‍♂️ Yeah, after reading some, it seems to split the difference between mid-sizers and full-sizers.

  10. Yeah, I did that with my username a year or so ago, got tired of Cubical and Moltar. Rob or Robert, never, ever Bob. Hope your hand heals well. I'm wondering if I'm developing arthritis...after a day of computing, my right middle finger (and only that finger) gets very painful. Not sure if it's from typing or mousing, though I tend to use the Mac trackpad more than the mouse (that is mostly thumb movements).

  11. Jaguar XJ electric sedan debut pushed to late 2021 "JLR group focusing on most profitable models during turnaround plan" ~ (In other words, they know they have no hope making a profit on this boondoggle, and they desperately need to turn a profit... so the EV "flagship" is delayed LOL

  12. OUCH, want a C8 Corvette Cheap? Check out this 3,419 mile C8 Corvette. Very cheap to the right owner. Seems the dealer put the corvette up for service on a lift and did not pay attention to the lift points that have changed on the C8 Corvette. As such Boom down it came. https://www.thedrive.com/news/34849/want-a-cheap-c8-corvette-buy-the-one-that-fell-off-a-dealers-lift
