  1. Seen that with so many GM, Fords, FCA, etc. Democracy and freedom is the ability of choice. Buying American does NOT insure you get a quality product as American products of the 70s to 2000s has proven. Nationalist Propaganda does not insure quality. Taking accountability to read the owners manual, follow scheduled maintenance gets ya closer but even then does not insure quality. On another note, many of us can respect this man's welding project that my sister sent me today since she knows I grew up making models.

  2. Now I see this, moving under it's own power. Is the 1000HP set-up the part that's not "actually" there yet? : Can someone explain how a 14-yr old insufferable noob even has access to a C8 Corvette, nevermind the stones to put down $100 deposit / talk like he's actually going to buy a Hummer???

  3. Sounds like the Charger, Challenger and 300 will be around in current form at least the next 3 model years.. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/10/23/dodge-challenger-charger-new-variants/

  4. Finished railings... except at house. Replacing double window with slider door. Except for concrete; the entire deck’s materials were transported in my 2500 HD.

  5. So out of boredom sometimes on Sundays I cruise the car lots. Last week the Toyota lot was sparse, just like all the rest. This week the lot is FULL of new vehicles. Wow, I was impressed! Ford, Chevy and Dodge lots are still sparse. Does anyone else like that Lunar Rock color on the RAV4? I think it looks good with the black interior on those. 29 MPG average economy is pretty darn good for a 4WD as big as the RAV.

  6. My Jeep has the 3.6 Pentastar V6...w/ the 8spd auto it's very smooth, and surprisingly good on gas, even in an AWD 5000lb SUV... I really want a Charger or Challenger eventually, though w/ the Hemi.

  7. My sister's '00 DTS had those style seatbelts...IIRC, the Park Avenue around 2000 may have had them also. I've seen them in some full size pickups, some of the Rams I believe.

  8. You make no sense and I don't get the humor. I can't possibly remember the old vehicles from "The Godfather" except that the "cannoli car" was big, American, bulbous, and about that color. - - - - - Spotted on October 7 near the Straits of Mackinac Bridge, a wonderful area. I did it again ... you know, some interior photos. I've got a soft spot for the Bonnes, given that I was invited to a car clinic where I got to drive one on a test track with pylons when newly released. I was surprised I liked it as much as I did and that it handled nimbly for its size. I can't tell the years on these Bonnes. Most of the ones I see seem to be this color, silver, or white. This one has too much ribbed side cladding. I think the automatic lamps in my vehicle light up the rear light bar on the Bonne since it was late in the afternoon Busy interior and dashboard and Pontiac sure liked to put circular vents and gauges anywhere they could. That extra pod with climate control vents scabbed on to the right of the center stack has always looked weird but, otherwise, the dash is cool. This interior is super comfortable and supportive, I'm sure. This is the only car I can think of where the seat belts were anchored to the seat, and not to a pillar or structure that is not part of the seat. I wonder why that was discontinued and how well that worked, but I've always thought it was an interesting set-up. And I also like the perforated headrests, which were also found in Grand Prixs during that span of years.

  9. Kinda like the steel / iron thing. One is a component of the other, but folk mix the terms up all the time.

  10. Woohoo! Thank you for this link. This means I have some safe options suitable for my boring and time tested shopping methodology for automobiles.

  11. 4 new phones for the family. didn't necessarily want, but all were eligible to trade in and get close to free or free with bill credits and trade in of old devices. the 2020 version of what they did in the early 2000's, incentivize the phones but do it in such a way that you renew your 'plan' and while technically not a contract, your 'free' phone is tied to staying in the plan / service to accumulate all your bill credits to make it free. anyone even slightly thinking of the new iphone, seriously this a good time to upgrade. I put it off for near 5 years and was just fine keeping what i had but these are easily the best iPhone deals i have seen in the last 5 years. Maybe best deals since the iphone 5c era.
