  1. Had three iterations of it. (1) 1993 Plymouth Laser (first car that was in my name) purchased used in '95, (1) Eagle Talon ESi 5 Spd Manual purchased slightly used in '96 (traded the Laser for it) and then another Talon ESi in 2005 (also 5 Spd manual). Sadly not one AWD TSi in the driveway but I have driven a few and they are sneaky loads of fun!

  3. As much of a land yacht kinda guy as I am, I've wanted a '98/'99 Eclipse GSX or Talon TSi AWD since they were new.

  4. Such fun with AWD but that and the turbo are why I never owned one. I got my first speeding ticket in an '81 Chevette. I would have lost my license in a month with either variation of the turbo AWD models. Yeah, those were definitely not for anyone taller than myself and I'm 5'10". You would need a shoehorn and KY jelly to get in and out of those lol.

  5. Reminds me of when I test drove a 1990 Miata when they first came out...my late older brother was a Mazda/VW salesman then, we were around the same size and it was a tight fit w both of us in w/ the top up...

  6. Yes, Hyundai, Kia and Genesis EVs all get the full $7,500 rebate if you lease. This fall when production starts here in the US, then purchases will also get the full $7,500.

  7. Oh wow. A Niro?!?! What a great vehicle for mid-$30k. I don't know if it gets the full 7500 fed rebate, but the Mach-e starts at 40k. A Mach-e Premium starts at 43k -7500 = 35,500. Ionic 5 & 6 are in a similar boat. I'd assume the Kia versions are also the same or similar. There are good EVs out there for not a crazy amount of money but they're all on the smaller side. With the fed rebate, these fall in line with the likes of a Blazer that starts at 35,4k.

  8. Beautiful spring weather today. Driving all 3 cars around. Took the Mustang for a quick spin this morning, got up to 70 in I-90, hit a few winding back roads. Took the Caddy out to lunch at a excellent Vietnamese restaurant, hit the winding scenic Chagrin River Road which winds through some of the most expensive NE Ohio real estate (Gates Mills, Hunting Valley, Moreland Hills, Woodmere). Saw several nice Corvettes and Porsches of various vintages, and a gorgeous black XLR-V rolling top down.
