  1. Do you feel I need to disclose per photo or will just an addition and explanation of this type of modifications in our existing AI policy be sufficient? I might even put those photos above as the example in the policy. My goal here is to be completely above board about AI on the site. I’m not against AI, but I am against AI for this type of creative opinion and editorializing. I don’t feel that touching up a photo in this manner violates that since the subject is an actual photo, but I want to get the group’s opinion on it.

  2. With this kind of editing, No. I do not think a disclosure is necessary. Eliminating things around the subject don't necessitate a disclosure, to me.

  3. Has anyone had experience (themselves or others you know) with a torn rotator cuff? If it's not bone, is it cartilage, muscle, something else? What was done for it - PT, surgery? How did it resolve and in how much time?

  4. Its being ruined by equity capital, just like everything else in the US. I like their pilots and crews, but like I said, prefer not flying on Boeing products. Zero issues with that sort of AI. Interesting.

  5. When it comes to photo editing, using AI is perfectly acceptable IMO. I do get what you’re saying about it though. There is a lot of gray area where AI is concerned and as an artist, I definitely have a certain stance regarding AI. However, your use of it for this purpose does not exist in that “gray area”. You are using it like any other tool on Photoshop so have at it. Announcing its use should not even be necessary here. Just my opinion though.

  6. It's not even that companies can't make money building sedans (except you Nissan), it's that the profit margins are so much higher building what is essentially a tall hatchback economy car and marking it up by $5K. Because the margins are so much better on something like Trax which sells for the same as a Malibu but is lower tech/quality/content, it forces management to look at sedan margin and ask "Why are we even doing this when we could just make a Trax 2-inches longer and sell it for more as a new model?". Manufacturers who want to stay in the game, Honda mainly and to a degree Toyota (though I see them faltering), they have to push their sedan prices higher to justify continuing to build them. A Civic costs every bit as much to engineer and build as an HR-V and CR-V, but it starts at $24k while the HR-V starts at $26k and the CR-V at $30k. You can't really blame manufacturers with numbers like that.

  7. Southwest announced its bag pricing. It's $35 for the first one, and $45 for a second one, so not horrible. Let's see if they will package up bundles. I like using them for ATL to TPA or JAX, having been cheaper than Delta and including the bag. They also use STL for connecting and do it all within Terminal 2, so it's an easy airport to connect in. They have had good nonstop service between all major West Coast airports, from SAN all the way up to SEA. I'm just waiting to see how this "new" airline unfolds.

  8. @oldshurst442 Love those old SUVs, but I actually have come to really like the Yukon GT for me in Maroon. I know we will never see a full size 2 door SUV again, but these were AWESOME!!!
