Seville Vs bimmer
The bustleback was the ugliest of all the E-bodies IMO. I can definitely feel where one would consider the car throwaway. The front-drive just makes matters that much worse for enthusiasts. But to those who like them, go for what you know. All the other generations of Seville/STS are OK with me, however (especially the first, fourth, and--tight interior be damned--current version).

Seville Vs bimmer
My point was why does it specifically have to be an HT-4100 model if you're going to yank the engine anyway? Were they still longitudinally mounting engines in the E-bodies at the time?

Vauxhall Offering
No, GM and Ford are just simply convinced SUVs and front-drive big cars are the only things North American drivers will buy....

Buick Royaum
Are you kidding? That radio loks sexy, as does the whole center stack. Yeah, I hate that wheel in the GTO, and hate it here too.

2006 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA
I had to come look when I saw that front end in the commercial. Definitely nice for an SUV.

Sexual Preference
There's a pretty serious amount of gay guys here...and they're not even into the stereotypical "gay man's cars" either....I easily would not have known any of you to be gay but for those that throw out words like "my boyfriend." Did a double take the first couple of times, but got used to it. Good to know folks openly do their thing and aren't ashamed...my brother is gay also, but hasn't come out yet. Could so many of you post here believing that GM stands for Gay Male? (ban me please!) I wonder where the lesbians are on this forum. Hell, I wonder where any women are at all....

I now see the point about the STS
Well, I wasn't the first one aiming it squarely at four-door BMWs...here, I was just making a case where I can see both the CTS and STS trying to ride the same track in the lineup, to the point one can derail the other.

Seville Vs bimmer
Why not use a crappy V-8-6-4 or Buick V-6 model? Unless you aren't talking about the bustleback, but really mean the late 80s version (far more worth it IMO)

GM Mulls AWD Cobalt
That's a beautiful Camaro in that sig.

GM Mulls AWD Cobalt
Exactly....after all, this was promised years ago.

The hottest of Hatchbacks
It's like someone took a New Beetle and gave it a normal front clip and extended the rear of the roof by a foot.....one can see what they were trying to do, but it still leaves me and most Americans cold. That being said, one can bet it performs.

Seville Vs bimmer
Come on, Nick, you speak as if a 76 530i was right up there with a Ferrari 288GTO. Though it's going both ways, with folks speaking of a 75 Nova-based Seville like it's a Rolls. Both cars did what the manufacturer intended and were never meant to be compared to one another.

Cars you may never see again
Those Beetles are basically held by the enthusiasts now....and they're kept tightly under wraps for the most part....you'll see one every once in a blue mon that isn't restored/hooked up, kinda like seeing someone still using a 68 Nova as a transportation car, but even then, in both cases, they'll still tell you it's not for sale, and chances are, they're asked every day. You're right about the other three. Vegas have likely been cut up by the dragstrip crowd (since a smallblock could fit in the engoine bay).

Seville Vs bimmer
The warring factions of bias are having one hell of a battle.

GM Mulls AWD Cobalt
They can with a combo of Cobalt and Astra.....like I said, we're thinking too North American in here.

How we thought on cars as kids
All jokes and highriding aside, that piece looks fresh. It's amazing what wheels can do for certain bodies...I previously wasn't feeling the LeSabre version until this picture.

Lori Queen says the Pursuit isn't coming stateside
GM IS Chevy to the average mind, so I can see where one can think that way....

Lutz talks about a streched Kappa for Pontiac (MT)
Was the concept prototype even driveable? All accounts make as if it was held together with pancake syrup.

What is keeping GM behind?
Am I the only person here who LIKES (the look of) the G6's interior?

The hottest of Hatchbacks
Nice Cutlass Salon pictures, but that car was actually a sedan...

The hottest of Hatchbacks
I could have clapped to that a little if you said Gremlin, but to say "Pacer," you're obviously just in a hating mood, as the 205 looks noways like a Pacer.

Cars you may never see again
I have noticed a lack of 80s Escorts on the streets lately...
