    Pictures!

Austin?? Why?? Your friend should have looked at Phoenix...no humidity.
  2. Oh sweet...I missed the sidebar...thanks!
  3. Exactly...all this worry for nothing.
  4. Most of the extra length will be in bumpers. How is that going to throw off the proportions? The concept was 186" and the production will likely be about 190"...that's about the width of 4 fingers. With the roof 3/8" higher, it will prolly have the same overall effect. Honestly, don't bitch about it until you see it...debating and "getting sad/disappointed/depressed" over an un-visualized change from a concept car is ridiculous IMO. Wait til you see it...this guaranteed won't be like the G6 losing a ton of width and gaining a lot of height. GM won't do that again, not with the Camaro.
  5. Again, this isn't about what you use on a daily basis, it's about what you can do in a pinch. For example, my family of 4 rarely has everyone in the same car...but when the extended family arrives from out of town for the holidays (usually for a week) a third row would be most welcome since those holidays usually mean we have an extra 2 or 3 people in town.
  6. Thompson Twins? Without any lyrics, getting the song will be tough...but I've mistaken Thompson Twins for Depeche or Cure before. Flock of Seagulls is another band that has a similar-ish sound, especially with some slower stuff
  7. LA has been in the upper 50s/mid 60s for the past couple weeks...one day it was into the 70s and I went to the beach. Altogether it's just a bit too cold...another 5-10 degrees and I'd feel more up to walking to Ralph's or Famima!! instead of the 2 blocks to Superior.
  8. Lambda isn't exactly downsizing. Europeans only drive their tiny cars as a result of high gas prices. Small cars will never take hold in America unless gas prices go up a ridiculous amount. Americans don't like compromise, and when you go small you may still be able to fit 5 people, but the comfort level is low and the cargo-carrying ability becomes nonexistant. Now, the classic counter to that is "but when do you need to carry all that stuff?" and the answer is not that often, but when you need to it really sucks that you cannot. I think the Lambdas are perfect for Americans, but then again their fuel efficiency isn't what the greenies would like it to be.
  9. Yea, that rear treatment looks cool on the G6.
  10. Northie, you shoulda gone someplace in Cali
  11. SRX just got a new interior, which was the only real problem with the original. Honestly, GM cancels and resurrects projects more quickly than an ADHD toddler so if sales improve significantly I wouldn't count it out completely. At this point, though, it's dead, unfortunately.
  12. Buick
  13. Wait, what? I thought you were joking Ven...no I didn't type that, and it isn't there in my post now. I don't type in bold anyways you should know that. If I decide to make it all known, I'm not going to make a big thread about it. People should be able to figure it out anyways...
  14. Yea and how many times do you hear about rollovers? Yea, they don't really happen Seriously, I don't care how cold it is...shut the damn car off! You've already been driving around in it, so it's warm inside. Leave the car, shut the door, and all the heat will still be there when you're done filling up.

    Snow!

Yea...hope it isn't a sign of "earthquake weather." LOL
  16. Heh...this girl Falicia...she gets completely hammered and then does Mammoth...just did it last weekend... I'd love to try snowboarding sometime...Hope y'all had fun!

    Snow!

I know! Though apparently a couple back it snowed on Sunset one evening up in Palisades...so LA Metro isn't immune from it, but I don't miss it one bit here in West Adams. Y'all don't get it in the valley do you?
  18. LOL I don't care who the "true" WW is (I don't read comics/care)...but I think Rachel Bilson is way hotter than Linda Carter...
  19. It's a funny pic...but definitely not the hottest Wonder Woman, that goes to Rachel Bilson:

    A fight

Honestly, if I were you, at this point I'd remove any online confessions of that aspect of it in case the guy wants to press charges. Just a friendly bit of advice...honestly there aren't too many ear-rippers out there.

    A fight

Unless you misrepresented, it sounds like you asked if there was a problem, which was met by a fight coming at you...so in that case you were fine.

    HOW RUDE!

Sorry, but that's really kinda petty on your part. Life's too short, man...
  23. I clearly denoted my personal opinion on Oldsmobile. I have long admitted I have had a special fondness for Oldsmobile, and yes that plays into it. As far as Pontiac goes, the fact that it isn't even on the public's radar shows how irrelevant/poorly defined it is. Pontiac's "sport" has largely been cosmetic add-ons like ribbed door moldings, ground effects, and functionless hood scoops. Actual performance has been identical to its platform mates, especially Chevies.Honestly, our debate comes down to this: you think Pontiac has sporty heritage cues worth keeping, and I really don't think the brand has had enough consistency to necessitate them. As far as the G8: as I said before, if this were the next volume midsized offering, yea, I'd be on Team Evok for a "Pontiac Is Screwed" campaign...but I think the sales data and general buyers preferences for sedans in the G8's price range show that for Pontiac's flagship, a more subdued, sleeper design is better. These buyers have enough money that they will eschew anything tacky and looking like the 2000 Bonneville in exterior execution. These buyers have respect for Acura, and this having the subdued sophistication of an Acura will help it IMO. Finally, Pontiac's buyers/fans skew young. Pontiac is off the radar for almost everyone except those who really can't afford to buy new...and that's why the subdued G8 style is good IMO because the people who can afford it generally aren't interested in a "LOOK AT ME!" design. They want cars that have the sport without being a visual radar-magnet.
  24. I like it! Not a lot, but enough to put an exclamation point there...

    MOMS

HAHAHAHAHA Blu, is there a chance that when she programs in her weight that it is less than yours and therefore she burns fewer calories? It takes more effort (calories) to move a larger body over the same time/distance. I mean, I assume she's smaller than you as a result of being female and older? Right?
