  1. $h! I forgot the Cherokee as an 80s...and let's add the Wrangler to that list as every girl I know STILL loves the Wrangler. BV, Take the F150 off the list and add the 94 Ram. I wouldn't add the 96 Taurus to that list either. Neon? Check. I would also add the New Beetle. I'd say the Dodge Caravan is a 90s quintessential as that was the minivan of choice among the soccer moms.
  2. Eh...I like Gorton's frozen fish sticks better.I love In-N-Out, Jack-In-The-Box, Steak 'N Shake, White Castle and Qdoba. In-N-Out: Double-Double animal style, fries and 7up Jack-In-The-Box: Their bacon and cheese potato wedges are amazing Steak 'N Shake: Patty Melt w/ cheese fries and a peanut butter shake or a double steakburger w/ cheese, mayo, lettuce n onions with fries and a peanut butter shake...only occsionally will i get a root beer float or a chocolate coke White Castle: 4 bacon cheeseburgers, large fry, large cherry icee Qdoba: naked shredded beef burrito no beans with queso, extra pico, corn, extra cheese, no sour cream, lettuce, and a $h!load of guac. either get the blackberry jasmine tea or a nantucket nectar. mmmmmm i love fast food! dammit BV, you made me all hungry!
  3. Sounds good! I like a varied mix with spinach AND arugala, red leaf lettuce and some herbs...im more into feta than bleu, and i don't like candied anything because of the carbs. Gimme some whole pecans anyday. Chop up some apple, add some kalamata olives, and since im not a balsamic vinegar fan, i use the kalamata olive liquid as a dressing.
  4. Then leave? Get over yourself. If you want a site that will praise GM no matter what, you've come to the wrong place. This is for GM's biggest fans and toughest critics--not fanboys.
  5. I love arugala!BTW--do I remember correctly that you are at least partly Korean? Send some Korean recipes my way if you have any cuz I'm getting into Korean food now. My friend Liz and I made some mean kimbaap this summer...I have the pix on my camera and I'll get those posted in a few minutes... EDIT: Check out the throwback 80s kitchen! AWKWARD! Making Kimbaap: Step 1 Squish It! Add Stuff! Roll That Bitch! Rolled. BIG KNIFE! Perfect! Mmmmm! We Did It!

    Acura RDX

What's up with the angled silverish trim in the interior? Dust magnet much?
  7. I still stick with the Explorer for the 90s...America's favorite SUV, SUVs became huge in the 90s...and dammit it still looks good!
  8. That's what I was thinking...but then why not just design the center stack with a single, centered place for the hazard light? Having a dead plate in any car, economy or luxury, looks fricken cheap.
  9. I thought that at first too, but since Kris and Ted would have been sticking things in it on camera if that were the case, I am just assuming it is shadow from the dash upper that might be overhanging slightly?
  10. I will keep eating fresh spinach forever. I still eat at Jack In The Box (love it...best bacon cheese potato wedges!). I still eat scallions. I am not afraid...and I like it.
  11. That or the Chevy Tri-5s.
  12. Disagree. 80s gave us aerodynamics and sleeker styling, while the 90s rounded things out and gave us gentrified SUVs.The 90s didn't suck with Olds Auroras, Chrysler 300Ms, Intrigues, 97 Grand Prixs, the best-looking Camaro design, etc etc... The 80s was the decade interior packaging and computer technology was introduced. Minivans? There were a lot of duds, but there were some that were good. I like the designs of the early W-bodies. I like the Taurus/Sable of the 80s. 80s Corvettes are hot looking.
  13. Thank God I'm in LA...
  14. Because the number of people who want it is not enough for it to make good business sense to sell it here.
  15. I too have issues with the M styling...I prefer the Q.
  16. GM can't just match the competition, they have to exceed it if they wanna win back sales. And designing a dead panel into the dash is something that makes an economy car feel cheap, detracts from the design, and would have likely been cheaper had the plastic surround not needed to be cut to make room for it. It's little things, little details that impress. As empowah said about the 2007 Navigator's headlights...they just look "designed" instead of placed. DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS!!!
  17. No VCR? Wow...
  18. See, I'm not biased so I bitch about all dead panels. I don't care if it's a $12,000 car. It doesn't cost $$$ to design a center stack that doesn't need a dead panel.I checked several sites, and not a single shot shows any icon on that dead panel. If anyone can verify, I almost think that there isn't an option there...it's just a black plastic circle in the design...tacky. Put a dash speaker there or something...
  19. That last quarter-quarter window thingy is actually a black plastic insert, you little $h! :AH-HA_wink:
  20. Do a search for the old "Cooking with Croc" thread...there were a bunch of culinary gems in there from everyone...many of them inexpensive to make
  21. Nice interior!!
  22. You need to go to www.gmc.com and click on the Acadia under the New Vehicle Preview tab. Look through the various demos, especially the interior one. There is a video demo of third row access. There is also a picture of cargo space with the third row. You should check it out.
