Depressed over not getting a MCR CD? ummmmmm yea haven't heard of that happening. See, the thing is that a lot of people have problems hidden beneath the surface. I just don't get how you can say definitively that they don't have problems...it seems pretty obvious to me that if someone is depressed they have some kind of problem. Just because it isn't obvious or apparent doesn't mean it isn't there... ETA: don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of scene kids either but I won't dismiss them beyond being melodramatic and possibly immature.

How can you say they have no real problems just because their parents are rich? Money doesn't buy happiness, and everyone feels hurt or pain regardless of parental wealth. One of my close HS friends has been incredibly depressed for some time now despite being very attractive, very smart, athletic and having a very wealthy upbringing. Why is he depressed? Because no matter what he does, he can never live up to his older brother who is even smarter, more attractive, athletic, etc. etc. No one actually tells him or treats him like that, but the subtext is there and has been for him since he hasn't found his place yet. He isn't an emo kid, but he definitely is wealthy with problems. People deal with things differently, and what might be a big deal for one person is trivial and insignificant to another. Everyone has different values/goals/aspirations. Not to preach, but it just rubbed me wrong to equate wealth with "doesn't have any real problems."

I disagree on a couple. They seem to want to call platform mates rebadges, though the Tribute and escape are most definitely not rebadges, and I really don't consider the Fusion/Milan/Zephyr to be rebadges (plenty of styling differences), though the 500/Montego most certainly are.

Southern rock is good. Every time the radio plays Lynard Skynard I blast it and do a terrible job singing along to "Sweet Home Alabama." What can I say...you can take the dude out of Indiana but you can't take the Indiana out of the dude.

I saw it in the paper and thought it was amusing given the previous thread. This shows that ocnblu likes to continue finding things to complain about regarding Croc, just for old times' sake, I guess.

I haven't been to a Big Boy in so long...not since 1990 or 1991...they're only in 10 states and Indiana isn't one of them.

Seeing how the 2006 DTS is EPA rated at 17/24 or 17/25 (depending on which hp output N* has been installed), I would say it is pretty hard to believe it would ever get 26-27mpg. With optimal city mpg EPA rated at 17, I do not find mid-teens fuel economy to be uncharacteristically low. The 2000 DTS was rated at 17/28 so 26-27mpg is more probable. Mid-teens city mpg is still reasonable. The 1995 Concours was rated at 17/26. Seville SLS were more than 100lbs lighter than base Sedan Devilles, so that might explain why you had an extra mpg or two in your 1996 SLS.

Actually, the best answer would be to switch to a completely renewable resource, like 100% biodiesel. Unfortunately, most biodiesel blends are only 5% or 20% biodiesel...I agree on the Diet Coke analogy, though.

They have several good ones...I like Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall, Hello, Morning Glory off that disc...then I like Don't Go Away, Hindu Times, Live Forever, Slide Away, Lyla, Guess God Made Me Abel, Turn Up The Sun, The Meaning of Soul, She Is Love, and maybe one or two others. The only "bad" album IMO is Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants...too many lackluster tracks.
