  1. I wanna know why they are deleting AWD from everything? Seems to me they'd want the extra end-models to be the most loaded and therefore most desireable. With a new vehicle rolling out...who's going to want to drive the Wal*Mart special?
  2. Croc

    airbags

Well, if you haven't noticed...cigarettes are made of paper and bend easily. You'd prolly just get a burn on your nose. Cigar? Prolly just get shoved into your mouth. Pipe? Yea...don't smoke a pipe. Glasses? Frames might get bent a little, but they shouldn't break since the bags inflate and quickly deflate...so they'd give. Plus, an airbag is better than a hard steering wheel or dash in that case. If you're really worried, though, get contacts or Lasik.
  3. Yea, I took Geology 108 and now I'm in Geology 240Lxg. Easiest way to knock out the two science GE requirements... I know!! But at least this year when the Ferrari crashed in Malibu, it wasn't because a house landed on it.
  4. I miss the 1995 Deville Concours we used to have...
  5. I would think Zeta is a bit large for the future Pontiac, if a future Pontiac will even come of fruition.
  6. Actually, they mostly slide past each other since SoCal is almost entirely composed of right-lateral strike-slip faults, with the odd thrust and blind thrust fault thrown in.
  7. Yea, don't be a bitch...BV might complain about you. Wouldn't want that to happen.
  8. Oh, but Chris...BV might think you're a bitch now...you know, for standing in his way of...ew no more thinking about this. *grabs Clorox and steel wool to scrub brain of mental image*
  9. Made-up? Oh, if only...Seriously...I bet you think I'm really upset about all of this. Truth be told, the past two pages of this worthless thread being devoted to me has had me in stitches for over an hour. Look, I'm not judging, but if you really get this worked up over me and my posting...well...let's just say I'm glad you don't have bigger things to occupy your time worrying about.
  10. No, it is impossible for California to "break off" or "sink" into the ocean. Land is land, ocean is ocean. In a million or so years, parts of LA will be up by San Francisco, and in another 5 million years or so, the Pacific ocean will be closed and it will be one land mass from North America to Asia. When it reopens in another few million years, parts of "California" might get caught on the other side of the split...but those would be the parts that were islands that have just gotten stuck on the edge of the North American plate due to the subduction of the Pacific plate.
  11. There isn't so much of a "season" for it. You can't really predict when an EQ is gonna occur, and they even occur in the midwest with the New Madrid fault. In fact, the Mississippi River is the result of an old, failed rift zone (where continental crust breaks apart into separate plates). I actually feel safer EQ-wise in SoCal than I do back in the midwest since California has some of the strictest building codes in the world as a result of having EQs...if the New Madrid fault were to become more active, I really question how well St. Louis would hold up. I know L.A. can withstand up to an 8.0 without much issue...and likely up to a 8.5. Anything above that? Who knows. But those are so rare.
  12. Actually, that's what I was responding to.
  13. But not everyone does. Most of the users who have known me (even on this site) for years get it...the rest? Eh, I don't really talk to them much and don't really care. I just think it's kinda funny how much some of y'all care about me and my alleged "bitchiness."
  14. Look, if you want to misinterpret my deadpan humor as bitchiness, well that is entirely your prerogative, and I will laugh at your stupidity for doing so.
  15. You should come to SoCal then...the weather's been amazing for the past week!
  16. Oh, Chargerino, I'm just f@#king with you...no hard feelings
  17. Yea...not really. Nice try, though :AH-HA_wink:
  18. Dude, you're 12. And I know you're pretty new to the site, but not every guy on this site wears thongs. I happen to be one of the minority who doesn't. Unless you're referring to flip flops, in which case I wear them every day.
  19. Wow, and you talk about me to other members? Just how many members care that much about ol' Croc to make him a focal point in their conversations? As for me mellowing out? You have no clue who I am outside of the context of this site. In fact, even within the context of this site you don't really know me. I posted one pic a while ago...and it isn't retrievable. I don't talk about personal things here, I don't really divulge that much about my life on here because honestly that's a little bit weird, since you really have no idea who is reading your posts. In fact, if you knew as much as you think you know about me, you wouldn't be complaining. But if you're going to be calling me a bitch behind my back and now to my face? Meh...I won't be so nice anymore when C&G members IM me to bitch about how annoying you are. Because you are. Seriously. I'm, by far, not the only that thinks that. I wish you'd just grow up, for god's sake... Jeesh.
  20. Funny, you sure seem to be responding to an awful lot of them for someone who hasn't been reading them...
  21. ???Sorry, I don't follow the Star Wars references. I forget who Obie Wan was...haven't seen that movie since I was 7.
  22. No, I think that was Landis.
  23. I love how *I'm* the one with the problem in a thread that's degenerated into very explicit descriptions of how some of you ejaculate. Seriously? Yuck.
  24. I have no idea, to be completely honest. I was just trying to be helpful. Thank you for seeing it my way. No deal. You do not have the power to ban me, you have no valid reason to propose banning me, and there is nothing in this thread to even provoke the kind of response you just gave. I think you are the one who needs to "just shut up."

    Nipple ring, Josh?
