    Officially Sold Out!

    Ohhhhh...it's all clear now.
  3. use text boxes. position them over the lines. text boxes only are positionable in increments, so if it doesn't line up properly, hold down the ALT key and reposition with the mouse. Hope this helps.
  4. It's so out-there...but I kinda like it!

    Officially Sold Out!

Thanks, Satty, if you hadn't posted that, I wouldn't have seen the GMI spy shot either. But Josh says he was just over there to check out a Honda ad...??? Josh, please explain yourself.
  7. Yea, a lot of ranting and raving over nothing. He already made his mind up before "testing" it, which he didn't even do.

Josh, I must ask WHY you go over there?
  9. Northie, I know you're smarter than to actually mean that. I mean c'mon now...
  10. Wow...so boring...yawwwwwwn.

  12. Doesn't matter...the pronunciation of the amalgam would shift with the pronunciation of the amalgam's parts.

    Sex Offenders

I do too, at the same time though...vigilante justice is not acceptable. Either lock em away for life, or let them do the time then let them live their own lives afterwards. Simple as that. At the rate we are going, there will be clusters of sex offenders living in sex offender villages in the country, and if you ask me, that's worse. You just cannot isolate them from society outside of prison...it's a logistical and ethical nightmare.

    Sex Offenders

Disagree. In L.A. if the frats get caught doing Row Runs they get put in the sex offender registry. I think the whole thing is a ridiculous violation of privacy to be honest. Statistics show the most molestation occurs from parents or close family members, NOT the creepy guy next door. Also, since most sex offender registries don't provide the exact reason they are in the registry, you get the guy who statutorily raped the girl who became his wife lumped in with the NAMBLA perv who goes to the park with cookies and candy. I just saw on the news the other day that someone up in the NE (Maine?) went on a shooting rampage and went all over town murdering sex offenders. Why? Saw their names on the public list, decided they needed to die. $h! like that is only going to keep happening when these "lists" are kept. Honestly...want to protect your kid from being molested? Don't keep them out of your sight until they are old enough to know and remember that you do NOT talk to strangers and that NO ONE should touch you "down there." Taking those steps and actually being a good parent are much more effective than these public lists, especially since the lists are poorly maintained.

    His current girlfriend? Good lord...
  17. I won't even mention the dash plastics...
  18. I'd rather have a Canadian Camaro than a UAW-built Camaro. Oshawa has a lot better quality than just about any U.S. plant.
  19. Yea, so I'm gonna tell everyone to f@#k off right now. This is obnoxious. If the words BV uses offend you: grow a pair. BV: grow up. Not everything needs to be a personal little protest. There? There. Seriously.
  20. So true. Props for incorporating Green Day into this thread...Longview is one of my favorites from that era.
  21. I didn't like my roomie that much last year...so slovenly and a waste of space...this year's roomate is such a fussy prissy neat-freak...ugh one extreme to the other.
  22. No, Element is too small. With it, the choice becomes people versus cargo, not people AND cargo. Also, Element has awkward styling. I am thinking of vehicles like the new Caliber, the Torrent/Equinox twins, or hell even an Astro or Safari. Those are great vehicles. If GM were smart, they'd have updated the Astro and sold it with "surf" and "California" packages and marketed it as a retro-cool youth-mobile.
  23. Well, I don't have access to the insider board, but the AURA really is a joke due to its segment-trailing interior, an interior that could be so much better had GM not cheaped out on the materials. Had the AURA an interior like the new OUTLOOK, we'd have a completely different story. I hope the 2010 redesign addresses this very issue.SKY is top-notch, and the only vehicles that might beat OUTLOOK for "best in class" are the Acadia and Enclave.* *Assuming, of course, that the 2nd row seat isn't 3 inches off the floor like some of the GM photos appear to suggest.
  24. I wanna see the new coupe...that is one sexy Infiniti!
  25. yea...good thing we're in 2006 with LCD screens... EDIT: Those GM screens weren't exactly ahead of their time...they were another example of great idea, bad execution. They put too many functions on them and they were more cumbersome than traditional switches and dials in daily use...like many NAV units today. That said, GM now makes some of the most user-friendly and intuitive units on the market today.
