I really don't get shin splints that badly...only when starting out for the season, and even then the muscles ache more than the shins. Plus, having a hot tub constantly at 105 helps immensely.
  2. Enzl, knock it off.

    Arg...

...and you WONDER why people don't take you seriously? [/seinfeld]
  4. My comments were in reference to the failure of Scion at luring younger buyers.
  5. Um...that's NOT why they lost $10B...well, not the direct cause.
  6. Actually, I think the funniest part is that the man with absolutely no spelling skills is pointing out someone else's spelling error. That has me ROFLMAO :AH-HA_wink:
  7. There is a big difference between being Southern and being rednecked, as I'm sure Enzora could explain to you. Southerners are gentlemen...rednecks have no class. Southerners serve you sweet tea on the veranda, while rednecks give you a Keystone Light outside of the doublewide.

  10. Yes, because GM's product isn't inferior at all
  11. Well, duh...young people want cheap, but they don't want small. They want to take their friends and their cargo to go places and do things. They want fuel economy if they pay for their own gas...basically they want a crossover with good fuel economy, good styling, and decent power. That would be a "young people mobile." Seriously...who buys those tiny tiny cars? Old people and really poor people...used.
  12. The Astro/Safari twins were GM's first minivans.
  13. GMC isn't getting a minivan, it is getting a Lambda Crossover...which is in the same spirit as the gentrified Envoy. The division will only grow.
  14. In the states...ecology is ALWAYS with a long e. Economy goes both ways...like "economics" is short e, but fuel economy is long e.
  15. GM's are some of the best in the industry in this regard. Even Edmunds says so.
  16. It SHOULD be EEKO TEK since it was made for ECONOMY and used a lot of advanced TECHnology to provide good power with good fuel economy.
  17. I think the GM unit looks better, actually...lower gloss plastic.
  18. har dee har har...yea im craving some sushi now...damn you BV damn you
  19. Yea, too bad GM can't even get the people in its commercials to pronounce it "eco-tech" since that makes it sound techy and environmentally good...no, GM marketing at its best
  20. someone needs to lay off the sauce then :AH-HA_wink:
  21. Too bad that plastic looks so cheap
  22. Well said.
  23. Yea...oh well. Why was it cancelled if it cliniced well, was needed, GM is now "urgently" seeking an alternative? I mean it's not like the union nixed it or something...GM controlled that decision...so...any insight as to why?
