This one? Me either...and what's worse is I know I've seen it before in person...and it's bugging the crap out of me!
  5. IIIIIIIII know. Can we just forget Harry? Such a perv...
  6. Not until we meet in person first, I'm afraid. I wouldn't do that back in Indianapolis, let alone Los Angeles. Just a rule I have, sorry.
  7. Disagree. Y'all are once again guilty of US-centric thinking. SAAB is great in Europe, and SAAB is needed for GM to compete in Europe. Sell SAAB, and what's left? Opel/Vauxhall? A newly launched Cadillac and a Chevrolet lineup of Daewoos? I don't think so. GM needs SAAB to compete in Europe. If Renault wants an existing make to buy so as to launch Infiniti, why not pick Lancia? Seems perfect to me, upscale Fiat, poor sales, already has the upmarket image...seems perfect. Or Renault could just launch Infiniti in Europe as is (the best option IMO)
  8. Are you really defending Harry?!?

    So...

Well those other ideas deserved to be laughed at.

    So...

They called you an idiot for that? Where? I missed that thread...

    So...

Yea me too originally, but yea...nope.
  12. Thing is, LAIAS is 5 min from USC by bus...that can easily fit into my schedule, any day of the week. Going all the way to Newport is more of an all-day event. Plus, no offense to Nick, but I'm not big on being dependent on rides, especially from people I have yet to physically meet. If I can figure it out somehow, I'll letcha know. When is the Newport show anyway?

    So...

That seems to sum it up quite nicely

    The Magazines

Lemme clarify: I want a manual in an SUV that truly has some sport in it, like an M-Class or an SRX.
  15. ...but being the poor college student that I am, I have no car out here...looks like a trip up Fig to the convention center is all I'll be able to accomplish...

    So...

How in the world would those be anything other than trucks? Open bed... Only reason I would say the SSR could go either way is because it does not have an open bed, merely a bed-shaped trunk. I think the SSR's mission is far more in sync with that of a sports car than that of a truck.
  17. Yes, this has been noted several times. The thing is, the severance package was upped to make them more competitive with other suppliers. Are the union contracts uncompetitive with other suppliers? No. Therin lies the difference. Also, what is more of a drain on a company by a long shot? The severance package of executives, or the pay + benefits of workers? Just something to think about.

    Saturn SKY

I highly doubt it will be a retractible hardtop. There's no way it would happen at that price point. Or is there? G6 Convertible will be a hardtop. Only reason I'm wondering is that the SKY has not been photographed with a top that I can find.
  19. LAIAS sounds good, just depends on the dates of the show depending on if I am in town or not (winter recess).
  20. Nice. I'm jealous, of course. Right now, though, I'm jonesing for a "baby-Corvette" SKY.
  21. Quit making yourself into some kind of victim. It's obnoxious. As far as the NWS tag...it really could go either way since the only pictures are of a shaved cat and some sausage links. What do the rest of y'all think? Do you think someone would get in trouble if those pictures popped up? I'm leaning toward no...
  22. What kind of top is the SKY going to have?
  23. In order: Buick Lucerne Mercury Milan Saturn Sky Ford Fusion Chevrolet SSR
  24. Those figures appear to be with all 8 cylinders working, otherwise there would be a more dramatic difference between the other two engines, gas mileage-wise.

    So...

First of all, that is NOT what my post was about. My post was saying that the SSR is in my mind more of a sports car than a truck. Yes, 68...I like the SSR. Do you have a problem with that?? Unlike you, I am not some close-minded fool. You wanna know something? I try to like you...I really do. But your hypocrisy (pointing out and making fun of people's spelling errors when you yourself can barely spell is just ridiculous) and the fact that you argue about things incessantly to such a ridiculous level just make you plain unlikeable. I guarantee that I'm not the only one who feels this way by a long shot...
