what kind of budget you thinking of BV?
-
you guys care to measure your e-pean elsewhere?
-
why does he need a ~5750 radeon?!!! he's lived with an "x200" which was like a radeon 9000 i think. base model from the past 2 years would be more than5x faster, easy. BV, do you play new games? if you don't you absolutely don't need a $150 graphics card. plus a "cheap" one will not strain your power-supply. a 5350 maxes out at like 15W...? that's nothing. more ram won't increase it anything noticeable. so... just ram and a video card... ~$90. or a whole new one for at least $400. for pretty much barebones, or an e-machines. lol

um... processor.. it's a lga 775, so you could potentially upgrade to a core processor... not i3 i5 or i7, so potentially , if your bios caould be upgraded you could upgrade to ...something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116265&cm_re=lga_775-_-19-116-265-_-Product if your graphics are hella slow and want to upgrade to the newest, a radeon 5450 would cost you ~50 - $70 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=5450&x=0&y=0 or even a 4350 would proly be 1/2 that. it's by no means a lost cause but for ~$70 to .. say 150, you could majorly upgrade. provided a bios upgrade for "wolfdale" core chips is available. and ddr2-533 should be quite cheap. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=40000147%201052308477&Description=ddr2&name=2GB%20%282%20x%201GB%29&ActiveSearchResult=True 2x1gb sticks for as cheap as another $40.

don't these take different sides ? if it's balanced naturally, we are the sole cause. if we are the catalyst, then there was no balance before...?

about the garbage landmass in the pacific. i say get a huge barge/ship, whatever out there with the waste to oil process and just start pulling it up and running it through.... should self sustain it's most if not all of it's fuel consumption from it's products. reclaim a lot of minerals and make fertilizer.... that would be something i wouldn't feel to bad about my tax money going to if it's not economical otherwise. edit: might have brought it up another place... but the rain fall in the southern Sahara/Serengeti? increasing... past several years, evidence being more grasses.

can we get a few things straightened out about theory and fact. example theory of gravity- our best put together concept of how it effects the universe, even though this theory breaks down the closer you get to the femto scale. fact- there is gravity and we can put our best estimated # on it to many decimal points now there are many facts that we can put together based on this "climate change" idea... there are surely several different theories of the same thing called climate change. in the example of gravity, we had a very quick and semi accurate idea on how gravity existed on earth quickly after newton proposed the first theory. we've had several 100 years to refine that theory since then. climate change might have started....several decades ago, but is still a baby theory compared to gravity. don't forget how more simplistic gravity should be compared to how much you have to factor in for "climate change". we don't have a theory of a "round" earth, that was proven in an experiment over 2000 years ago. the fact is easily provable. just like in the politics "lounge" we had a worse depression in 1920 and got out of it within the next year by doing the opposite what we did in the great one (same thing now), but there are still "ostriches" about that fact.

and regulations that have kept many of these things, and even better things from being researched and implemented.

did you miss my comment on SAmedei's comment? i'm assuming you did....

well if you think we have the authority to go into another country and force that to end... we also have a military that puts out more emissions than the autos on our highways, and bombs and politics reducing productive land that could feed or just help people in general. yes. we need to clean up our own act before getting into anyone else's business, that goes from litter, to legalizing such pollution because of the EPA, something that doesn't have the authority to do what it is doing most times.

actually bison are better, they leave the grasses' roots and saliva helps the grasses heal and regrow., pretty sure cows don't, for erosion's sake... if we could only harness cows methane production... lol

you mean like even the "systems" to combat the change? "Forests Are Growing Faster, Ecologists Discover; Climate Change Appears to Be Driving Accelerated Growth" http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/02/100201171641.htm i saw an article a while ago about how air pollution (haze formers) increased how fast trees grew too, cause of the increase in light at all angles. sadly our wetlands do need to be revitalized, and our waterways need to have fewer harmful obstacles placed by us, like dams.

Croc your "scientists have figured out that excessive carbon outputs have thrown off equilibrium, and while warming effects have been observed, it seems frequency and intensity of weather events has been increasing as well.".... you are assuming we had equilibrium and that it would have continued without us. 1. this is not provable because this is not testable, 2. we are one large event, volcano, storm, or something away from throwing a wrench into a "equalized" earth. placing blame on storms from "climate change"...do you believe the scientists have a crystal ball and know what is going to happen, and know somehow it would not have happened either next year or 2 years in the future anyway? part of this seems like Schrodinger's cat but you can know the outcome based on computer simulations without actually doing the test. that is not science.

i agree. it's much larger and stronger than anything we've ever done... haha maybe they should replace all the dirt with diamond material. LOL i sent an email reporting my complaints.... maybe they'll read it on air friday...?> lol
