  1. wing is horrible, but will be interesting if they tell how they got 270HP out of it....3valves? hope so and hope they bring those out for late 06 or 07 models...that'd be great
  2. front looks slightly saabish w/ the lights cut off higher than the hood line
  3. i was looking into goin gto chicago last year. be cool to go this year if i'm not busy
  4. reminds me too much of the EVO lancer.... sorry for the lazyness of not posting a pic. anyone else do that? lol
  5. "And there's nothing quite like the torque and throbbing exhaust tone of a V-8. The Impala displaces 5.3 liters, has variable valve timing, prefers premium gas (but will accept regular)," i didn't think the 5.3L has vvt yet.....anyone else catch that?
  6. if the article refered to it as a tape recorder, he must not have had it edited by a very smart person...i don't know if a recorder has ever been offered in a car....now a player definately. :P
  7. should tak out the back seats and make it a old bettle type car....rear engine...maybe v 8 :P
  8. be interesting if they figured that w/ cars that just could use regular, or saw what those cars would do on regular....not the zo6 though, just in case it got damaged some how...those other cars are plentiful enough lol
  9. interesting change, what if you pushed the door line back a little ...few inches at most, and it could have a , get this, the rear window could roll down.....any other car that isn't a convert. have that option? yes it'd prolly make replacing a motor for it a huge pain...but i think it would besomething gm could say others aren't doing.
  10. to me it looks like it's just a sleeker looking impala, ....just a difference where the rear door ends, and looks like a shorter length from the rw to the bumper.... anyone else see it, ......i don't really pay attention to previous lexus style...
  11. that's what i was going to say where the grill came from....
  12. i believe i know what that california law entails.... it'll be another late 70's happening for car companies here, lowered power....maybe cleaner? sure it might work , but it'll also put us back about 10 years...
  13. i thnk it goes w/o saying, a Camaro and T/A and more a performance buick, say.... riviera, soiunds fine. caprice and el camino after a year or two. and then mainly make the wagons, coupes, converts, of the models that could have them.
  14. my 99 M.C. w/ the 3.1L (now w/ about 130K) started this problem last winter....after the car has warmed-up to the normal temp it gets to on the temp gauge, it can sometimes unlock (or not lock in in the first place) the tourque converter in overdrive....sometimes in 3rd too. going 55mph i can rev the engine between about 1500rmp to 2500rpm w/o an upshift or a big change in throtle..... kinda like if it was almost in nuetral but still moving the car. would this be the same thing as if going 55 also, and sometimes the engine drops to near idle speed instead of having engine drag closer to ~ 1400rpm. these things seem to only happen in cool and cold weather, hence it's starting to happen again since fall is almost here. any good ideas are very welcome , and thanks in advance. and would this cause the engine to also try to die at idle (but it does correct itself) once in a while(no more than 1 time a day, usually)?
  15. the side profile looks so much like the malibu
  16. do you think either one will come out soon ~ next 2 years or will after market come out first? that might be good if gm could make a v6 w/ more than 300 ft lbs since the 3.8 was pretty close when s/c.
  17. there could be, 2 versions of a v6 version....normal 3.9L w/ ~240 hp. or the 3 valve version w/ ~ 270 hp for a little price jump.
