  1. The dark blue car displayed at the Detroit Auto Show was an early production model, with the top down, you press the release on the key fob...the trunk has the ability to swing both ways, just like BV.... So it pops open like a conventional trunk. Of course, much of the room is still taken up by the stored roof panels, but there is room in between the panels, and storage under the panels. The cover needs to be in place when the roof does it magic as to eliminate the chance that idiots would pile a ton of things into the storage area, and then activate the mechanism, W/O the cover, things could get caught in the scissoring linkage jamming that beeeotch up. I really like the pillarless look with the top up and windows down. The only flaw regarding the amazing design, are the unreal expectations of a few who don't bother to find out how things work.
  2. It bothers me that so many uninformed guys can ramble on for so long about things they don't understand.... the trunk can be accessed with the top down. I was at the auto show today and watched as he opened the trunk in a normal manner, and reached under the stored, folded hardtop. There is a roll up privacy cover with storage underneath. Quit bitching about everything, at least until you bother to find out the truth, Buickboy!
  3. Good job Mustang dude. I saved one this summer from the Detroit humane society...I thought it was a little sick Dingo...She had double barrel phnuemonia? -how the hell do you spell that- She is a really smart healthy pup now, I'm sure she'd have been a goner otherwise.
  4. The mind-numbing red Camaro showed up at the Warren VEC today.... Red is definately the right color for that thing!!! Too many others are silver.... seeing it in person, in red, makes me feel good.
  5. In pictures yes...Chevy's look just right yes.... Up close they seem super big and very nice. I like them alot.
  6. Better luck next time
  7. Are you joking? This should never happen.
  8. Exactly! Open headers for max effect.... "there came a rumble from what seemed, well below the earth's crust!" yeah yeah. great idea.
  9. In my mind, the only choice for chapter 5 is Breadfan, amidst a pack of rumbling, tire melting Camaros...shown with mustangs behind them, desperately trying to keep up....
  10. I have had dozens of GM goods but only two I thought were special. My very first was a '68 Chevy II which looked like a nova, but had Chevy II tags (the first and only year for that style Chevy II) It had a 153 cu in 4cyl with a whopping 90 hp. 3 speed on the floor. My "friend" left some hots from his smoke in the back seat and it caught on fire the last day of high school. Nice. My other and bestest unique car was a '68 Chevelle SS 396 auto slapstick red w/ black SS stripes and black leather interior. Bought in Alabama from a drunk guy in a trailer park for $1200! (In the late 80s) I'll bet he felt bad the next day. He put the for sale sign out, and took the cash, so I didn't feel bad.
  11. 64 Ford Falcon Aussie first year?
  12. wheels up
  13. OK I'll take the bait...all true except # 5. Quite a gift! You kinda have the edge on us....
  14. None taken. I try my best to not comment at all, except when untrue comments hurt GM. I sincerely appreciate all who consider the info source carefully.
  15. Wonderful. Maybe then the rabid media dogs of hell can start whining about Toyota's recalls and poor quality...yaayyy! I wonder what it would be like if GM was an underdog?
  16. Yeah on the above, are those super duper extreme luggage racks or handles for uprighting the pseudo-truck when it's rolled over? fruity truck.
  17. It's been a tough day, it's just this part is hard to read, and I know every supplier doesn't read this... I'm just asking you to consider the source, is that so bad? I can't just sit there...it's like someone picking on your little brother, you can't just let them... The eternal footman is scraping his shoe off, and dumping his clutch.... he is not in the ditch or wrecked or done driving his chosen road, he is busy gittin r done
  18. We have a winner!
  19. Please stop this. Your illogical assumptions are incorrect, and harmful to GMs purchasing/sourcing plan. Just because a job is pulled from a certain supplier, is no reason to speculate that program is cancelled. I cannot emphasize how bad this is hurting GM! Many suppliers are not getting the job done properly. There have been incidents of meetings not being attended, because of cancellation rumors. If you have proof of the crap your'e spreading, fine. Please try to base your comments on what you are SURE is true, instead of pretending you know facts! Ted's list has many errors as well. Some of you guys are acting like the Media retards that all pile on, just because you can. PLEASE consider your thoughts carefully before blabbering your incredible dizzying logic. GM has it tough enough right now, really.
  20. To everyone that likes them off: Maybe it will be a Cement Mixer, maybe a 110mph Vette with a drunk at the wheel, maybe your friend.... someone will pull out. You increase your odds of having an accident. Why not fire up another smoke while you're at it? (derrrrrr)
  21. Yeah- where can I get a Dad like that?
  22. That's a '54 Buick Roadmster Landau no XP # found..
  23. I heard all mid-size cars are now being rolled the into Smegma platform.
  24. Neverheardofit! wow.
