    Soon On C&G

As bad as the Lions are.....I'm pretty sure that they make money. Every game is nearly sold out, and they haven't had a blacked out game since Ford Field has opened.
  2. Still on your one man campaign to destroy the still unseen/uncamoed new Sebring?? What if you actually think it looks good after they unveil it??

    SONATA

This is pointless without telling what engine each car had, and how much HP and torque they have. Of course the 126 HP Crapolla with the 1.8L is going to have better mileage than a 145 HP 2.2L Cobalt.
  4. Motor Trend does a figure 8 test. That is a standardized test that tests turning and straightaways. However, I didn't do any research to see what time the CiviD got.
  5. Caliber SE First Drive: 2007 Dodge Caliber Review and photos by Paul Williams We're seeing some really innovative vehicles on the Canadian market these days, and here's another clever take on a popular category. If you're looking for a value-packed compact car, the new 2007 Dodge Caliber should be right up there on your shopping list. What's so special about it? Plenty. continue: http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/pw/07caliber.htm
  6. 1.) How can this scream JEEP, when it looks like an old Dodge Power Wagon? 3.) The Liberty wasn't known for it's "great ride" becasue the wheelbase was kinda short, whihc is good for off-roading but bad for highway bounciness. I believe that the wheelbase has been stretched for the new Liberty and the Nitro. It should take away some of the bounciness. Why would the new 4.0L not be able to keep up? I think the newest competitor for this is the new bigger Toyota Rav4, which everyone was amazed that it had 268 HP, but it also only has 246 ft/lbs of torque. With 255 HP and 275 ft/lbs of torque, I'm sure the Nitro will "keep up" with it's competitors. ....and if you guys think this car has a cheap interior, I wonder what you think of the Equinox? This is one of nicest interiors the Chrysler Group has put of in a while. How can anyone complain about an interior being plastic? All interiors are plastic. There is no evidence from these pictures that they've used "cheap plastic". Nitro Nox
  7. I can't believe everyone is all for raiding the middle class, in order to make them poorer.......all in the attempt to compete with unfair (government subsidized) foreign competitors. This country is sick.....and you people are sick! Way to go government......one of the only things we really need them for, and where are they??
  8. They could be worth alot in the future. They are very nice looking, and will be very rare. I've driven the SRT-6 version.....and that thing scoots! Don't know if it's worth the price though. I wonder how it would sell if it had a HEMI?
  9. Compared to California wages??
  10. Auto manufacturers only pay like $35 for windshields. If Honda doesn't fit it correctly into their vehicles, causing the windshield to be installed under stress, then it will have a higher tendency to crack.
  11. If they even made them semi-attractive, they could make conversion vans out of them.
  12. It looks like a Scion Tc.....and all of the Lexi look the same now.
  13. Is there still going to be a Freightliner version?....or was that just way too redundand?
  14. How about 26% of owners with oil leaks? or 49% with burned out instrument needles or lights 31% of owners with transmission problems 15% of owners with motor mount problems If this was a Big 3 vehicle......it would be considered a lemon!
  15. WOW .....I was just doing a little poking around that Lexus forum that had the pictures......check out this poll for owners problems with their current ES. Don't forget to look at the # of voters = 227. There are 565 problems just from those 227 voters on just the problems listed.....I wonder how many problems would have been listed if there was an "other" catagory?? : http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135072 There were minor problems listed on the Monte Carlo forum I used to belong to, and on the current Chrysler LX (300/Magnum/Charger) forum.....but nothing to the extent of the problems listed on that Lexus ES thread. What pieces of junk. How can those people on there rag on American car quality, and then completely overlook the pieces of crap that they are driving??
  16. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationw...ack=1&cset=true (need to be registered) When domestic automakers had their backs to the wall 25 years ago, they could count on a "Buy American" sentiment to keep some customers from defecting to fuel-efficient foreign cars. Today, many loyal domestic vehicle owners say they would be comfortable buying an import. Art Spinella, president of CNW Marketing Research, says the confusion over national origin means consumers are less likely to try to help fellow Americans by buying a domestic vehicle. "Basically, they throw their hands in the air and just buy what they like," Spinella said. When CNW surveyed shoppers coming out of Wal-Mart stores, 75 percent said they preferred to buy American, yet an inspection of their purchases found that 90 percent were made in China. For about one-third of car shoppers, where a vehicle is built may be moot because they don't include domestic brands on their shopping lists, according to CNW's research. That's undoubtedly due in part to lingering perceptions about quality problems as well as styling issues. "There's no real American product I want, except maybe the Chrysler 300C," said Chicagoan Curtis Patterson while browsing new models Monday at an Orland Park Acura dealership.
  17. Oh, and there will no longer be a Stratus to share seat tracks with anyway. The next gen will be called Avenger.....and will probably have MB seat tracks. Maybe more people will buy Avengers if they know that they will be getting MB seat tracks??
  18. Wow, people on here don't like any thing! I think it looks just fine......no I actually think it look really good. Yes, I see hints of Viper and Corvette, but I think you will end up seeing all kinds of hints, from all kinds of vehicles from now on, since there have already been so many different vehicles designed. As far as it looking like a Hyundai.....we I guess Ferrari should have asked Pininfarina not to design the last Tiburon.....cause I thought that the current gen Tiburon always looked a little like a Ferrari.
  19. Critique?? You said the 4Runner's interior beats the Durango based on a picture and your preference for shapes. I said that the 4Runner and the new Camry had just as crappy of interior materials based on me sitting in them and touching them at the Auto Show. I am not going to help perpetuate the myth that Japanese car interiors always blow away their American competitors when it certainly is not true! And you guys can say what you want about Chrysler interiors, but as many people have pointed out, they don't usually get ripped in magazine reviews. Maybe there is a reason why? I only mentioned the Durango (actually, someone else brought it up) because my sister has one, and I haven't been in many Trailblazers or Explorers. Actually, I take that back, a friend has an Envoy which is also nicer than the 4Runner. Like I said earlier, I really expected Toyota interiors to be top notch, and way nicer than their American competition......and from what I saw they were not.
  20. Yeah, when the concept came out, I thought it looked pretty cool......but then they never came out with an R/T version :( :
  21. Who said it beats the Durango?.....you and the other Toyoites?....or maybe the GM fans?? My sister has a Durango, and it's very nice inside. I think it looks better than the mid 90's look of the 4Runner.
  22. You forgot one: I think cargo vans may be the exception.
  23. Chapter 3, I guess: Sounds fishy to me?
  24. Just getting farther away with poor lighting doesn't make it's plastic any less hard and cheap. That picture just includes a view of the seats, which admittedly look pretty nice, and distract your view from the crappy dash materials (which are shown in the "real world" picture that I posted) . I don't think the one I sat in at the Auto show even had leather seats. It was all just abysmal gray in there. Then I touched and knocked on the dash, and it just felt as cheap as the Durango or Cherokee. I was fully expecting the new Camry and an expensive 4Runner to have a "world class" interior....because of all the propaganda that I read in the auto rags. Flat out, Toyota interiors are no better than domestics as far as meterials. Interior design however, is subjectve, and people will always disagree on that point.
  25. How is that any worse than the shitty 4Runner's gray on gray hard palstic interior. Just because Chrysler vehicle interiors are using sharp lines and angles doesn't mean it's worse than some swoopy Pokemon/Anime interior. Swoopy and blobby interiors came from the Europeans and Asians. Chrysler is not trying to be Euro or Asian.....so they are going with a more traditional American interior to match the bold exteriors. They are leaving Euro for MB. All I really said is that everyone is using hard cheap plastics......and that Toyota is really no better. Yes, the fake wood is funny.....but apparently some people like it. I, for one, hate all wood on modern vehicle interiors. Wood should not have been in vehicles past the 80's.
