Geneva Buzz: Dodge Resurrects Hornet Name for Its
I believe keeping the engine down around 1.6L will help keep the weight down. As far as competing with the CiviD for power.....I don't think this vehicle is in the same class as the CiviD. The Caliber competes with the CiviD, and it owns it for power, with the 300 HP SRT-4 (while the 2.4L R/T even has 172 HP). The non-"Si" CiviD only has 140 HP.

Nissan cuts SUV, truck production
The Camry came in dead last in a 2004 Motor Trend family car comparo. It again came in dead last in the last family car comparo (late 2005 magazine?, '06 models?). And yet, it was the top selling sedan for like the last 4 years. So yes, INFERIOR PRODUCT!! Nothing "childish" about telling the truth.

Detroit News: 2006 Honda Accord Hybrid Review
So, with this whole argument, all you are really saying is that the benifit you get from the Honda is $8,000 wheels??

Nissan cuts SUV, truck production
I'm sorry......maybe everyone missed this review posted in another thread: http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...3/1002/BUSINESS Toyota will simply be trading on their perception of quality with an inferior product.......like they always do. While this works with their smaller sedans, it will not work the same with trucks. People will buy whatever car is cheap, or whatever car is percieved to have a higher quality. Truck owners buy something they know is tough and reliable.....a truck that has been tested in the real world. The Tundra, like the Titan will only sell to first time truck buyers who want to be different.

Even More Sebring Spy Shots
I would love to see the interiors you guys would design. The dash would be made out of rich mahogany, the roof would be covered in Corinthian leather, and the HVAC would be made of platinum and diamonds. Ford and Chrysler interiors will always get ripped on this forum....and even people on here are brainwashed into thinking that the Japanese and even Korean interiors don't use "cheap gray plastic". You guys wonder why Chrysler interiors don't really get ripped in magazine reviews......it's probably because they don't suck like you just assume they do.

Detroit News: 2006 Honda Accord Hybrid Review
They are only now pointing out the uselessness of hybrids, because the domestic automakers are about to come out with theirs.....and that's only due to all of the pressure of the media claiming that the domestics were so far behind the Japanese. So the domestic hybrids will come out, and they will instantly be ripped for not creating out of this world fuel economy.....and again will be criticized for being behind Japan in this almost worthless technology.

Chrysler Hopes to Consolidate Dealerships
I just dropped my car off at a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership this morning. It's a pretty cool place, but it's out in the middle of nowhere.

And the Xb will slowly become the Chevy Astro that it always dreamt it could be. BTW, this is a real Astro, and not an Xb.....hard to tell them apart.

With only 251 ft/lbs of torque in an SUV??........I don't think V8 at all.

Production Verison of Jeep Gladiator a Possibility
I'm pretty sure that statement is wrong. The Nitro is based on the Liberty, which I'm sure has nothing to do with the Wrangler.

New '07/'08 Chrysler Sebring spy pics!
There's no way a Touring model would ever have wheel covers. Every vehicle needs a base model. If you have more then one level of options, then the lowest level is the base model.

C&G Exclusive: The 2008 Dodge Challenger
The PT Cruiser still sells really well. People assume that the sales are really down because they just aren't at the level they started at. The PT Cruiser is the 5 best selling compact in the US. It's sales are up almost 4000 units compared to last January.

New '07/'08 Chrysler Sebring spy pics!
I think it's simply because the 300 is more desireable. I'm sure Chrysler makes money selling the Charger SE's, but they make that much more money selling 2.7L base 300's. Some people buy the 300 simply for the looks. I bought one (3.5L) for the looks and the mechanicals. Why lower the price or add features to your hottest selling vehicles? They already added the 5 speed tranny to the Touring and Limited. They can drop the 2.7L when sales cool off, and make the 3.5L the base......and then add the new 4.0L for the mid levels.

Kia mulls North American assembly
- Current Nissan Titan rebates
Also while taking a hit on profit, just to flood the market with their product.- 2007 Dodge Nitro
Hence the 4.0L (255 HP) that only has 5 more horsepower than the car 3.5L, but has 25 more ft/lbs of torque (275 ft/lbs). The 4.0L will not be a dog. The 3.7L has a good amount of torque too.....I drove a Liberty for 3 days in the snow a month ago, and it felt like it had a ton of torque......however, I got really bad gas mileage cause I was flooring it all the time and doing 4WD donuts in the snow!!- Racing Leak to Toyota
As part of the law suit, they should have banned the Toyota from racing until they come up with their own Japanese carburated pushrod V8. - Current Nissan Titan rebates
