  1. Sorry, but I've always thought public buffets were nasty. People smacking their chops to ribs and potato salad then licking their fingers and immediately back for seconds touching the same serving spoon or spatula you do. NO THANKS, I'M GOOD!!!
  2. We have the rear plate only in AZ, it is aesthetically much nicer looking without a front plate that's for sure. I've never had one on the C5 even when I was still living in OR and I never had a cop bother me and I had the front plate in the back storage area so if I was ever pulled over I could put it on. Not only is a front plate easier for cops to hit you with the laser (Lidar) gun, but toll roads in many states with high speed camera's need them as well. Front plates look horrible on Vettes more than any other car I think, it's just not designed for them and they ruin my very low .29 Cd "Coefficient of drag"
  3. I never said it wasn't a nasty virus, but it's not as deadly as first thought by doctors and scientists and your borderline fear mongering post leading with, "Everyone, we have a newer deadly strain 10 times stronger" doesn't do anything but create more worry and fear in some. We all hear about it and read about it daily. The virus did originate in China near Wuhan from bats living in deep caves that were known to carry this particular SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus (FYI, Covid-19 is the disease that this Coronavirus causes) that the crazy "Bat Lady" scientist retrieved and were studying in the lab in Wuhan at the Wuhan Virology Institute, that's not a conspiracy. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-chinas-bat-woman-hunted-down-viruses-from-sars-to-the-new-coronavirus1/ Why were the Chinese studying bats with such a nasty contagious virus that first wasn't able to be transmitted to humans, but now it is?! Yes, there is a large uptick in cases in younger individuals throughout the country, but that is very likely because of the younger demographic in the 20-44 age bracket who were protesting, rioting and looting all around the country, during a Pandemic, all last month gathering around each other as well as bars where this younger misguided generation were congregating with no face masks or social distancing. We had random individual bars in Old Town Scottsdale violating the social distancing and face mask requirement and they were immediately fined by the city with misdemeanor charges and shut down, so violations don't go untouched here. Interesting that all your links are from the Fake News leader CNN after you say that I get my info. from "Faux News" Fox News when ZERO of my past links have been from FN. So maybe take your own advice and look outside of CNN for your News as well, my friend. Here's a site you should visit often. https://www.doh.wa.gov/Emergencies/NovelCoronavirusOutbreak2020COVID19/DataDashboard And FINALLY your worthless mayor let Seattle police and FBI go in and take down the "CHAZ", "CHOP" area that she called "Summer of Love" in Capitol Hill after nearly a month of destruction and mayhem because protesters and rioters came to her house and started damaging her property...interesting when it was city property it was fair game...sad.
  4. That auda hold the ass-end down at a most likely electronically limited 165mph. Bring on the CT5-V Blackwing with the 6.2L LT4 (LTA?) BEAST!!
  5. I read this exact article the other day and nowhere does it state that this mutated strain is deadly or deadlier than this virus, that originated in a Chinese lab, has been. The article states the contrary in the last bullet point at the beginning of it, "This does not, however, appear to make patients any sicker or less sick", so they got you with the big bold headline. This mutated strain that's been here since May still almost entirely and severely infects the elderly and people with an underlying condition/comorbidity. It's why people with diabetes or heart disease are a high risk group as they have a higher level of the ACE-2 Enzyme that viruses like this SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus attach to as a receptor in the human body, which translates to more antigens and viral load count. Another excerpt from the article states, "The mutated version of the virus, dubbed G614 - a change from D614 - is a tiny change in its genetic make-up". Unfortunately, all viruses mutate to stay vital, it's why there are three main types of the Influenza virus as A, which is constantly changing and the one responsible for our annual flu bugs, B found only in humans and C which is rare and usually not a severe infection. Each of the three Flu types have several different sub-types that have been reported for over 500 years. Sorry, all closed down and probably going to be a thing of the past bud.
  6. And acts 25 at times as well
  7. Yep, one of my Grandma's had a two tone blue/white wagon with the bullet proof 4.2L I-6. Needed the 4x4 to get up a gravel hill to the house and property and the wagon for groceries and dogs. It was a solid pretty reliable 4x4 wagon er uh..early 4x4 CUV I guess ha. Like below just dark blue bottom section.
  8. '81 Eagle Sundancer Conv. conversion model, only built in '81 and '82. Pretty unique, how many can say they own a convertible 4x4 Coupe with decent ground clearance? Nice vanity plate too, "81 4x4". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMC_Eagle#Sundancer_convertibles
  9. Elmer Fudd (stripped of his rights!) 🐂💩
  10. A grille only a Mother could love...Lexus has been phoning it in for over a decade kind of like the rest of TMC...
  11. I knew you knew that 👍🏼 C2 is one of my favorite Vettes. The '67 with 427 and stinger hood running the 4 spd Muncie is one of my dream cars!
  12. Thanks olds!!! Very awesome!!! America's Bi-Centennial is my birth year '76!!
  13. Growing up we had Cadillac, Buick, GMC and Pontiac in one dealership and showroom and Chevrolet, Oldsmobile (Geo added in the 90's) in the other dealership across town in the 70's and 80's. Same setup today minus Olds, Pontiac and Geo of course. Cadillac has always worked to separate itself from the other divisions and has been pushing it for the past decade. I'm told by my Cadillac dealer buddy that any new Cadillac dealership built is required by GM to be a stand alone dealership that meets or exceeds their build quality and/or GM Corp. high-end standards for Cadillac to further differentiate the luxury marque from it's sibling divisions. It's pretty obvious with the new or remodeled Cadillac dealerships now. This reminds me of a Summer job during college in the late 90's when in my early 20's at a large dealership in the East SF Bay Area Crown Cadillac, Chevrolet and Isuzu known by many as "Crown Dublin" in Dublin, CA, where the Cadillac dealership was of course a separate building and showroom from the Chevrolet, Isuzu. You had to get certified with GM to sell Cadillac's even back then. An older salesman (like mid 70's) Don, was the Big Kahuna Cadillac guy and used to say, "If you can fog a mirror you can sell a Chevrolet", basically saying they sell themselves and you don't have to be certified. Pretty funny none-the-less! Fun Summer job, and I'll never forget when Don took me for a ride in a new loaded '99 Seville STS. I'll tell you what that thing was quick for a FWD 300hp V8, then he showed me how good the brakes were. We took an off-ramp off the 680 Interstate he checked behind us and said you ready? Gripping the Oh sh!t handle good I said yep, when he anchored the brakes and the auto seat belt tensioners simultaneously activated and the girl just stayed straight as an arrow, literally squatted down (no reared up back end) sunroof shade slammed shut and I swear we stopped on a dime with 9 cents change from at least 60mph, pretty damn good for late 90's ABS tech. Then he stood on it and the electronic traction control took over squealed the fronts a bit, but it launched pretty hard with almost zero torque steer with equal length drive shafts that the Caddy's had and she was off. It was a blast! Never had a salesman "test drive" a new car like that with me and probably never will again!
  14. Growing up we had a farmer neighbor who's wife had that exact mid 90's (think it was a '95) Fleetwood Brougham same gray/pewter color even. She was a Beaut, chrome was always shined up!! Super smooth ride, last of the big, old school RWD Caddy cruisers with the venerable LT1 350cid V8. That '71 "Fleet" is quite the masterpiece as well. And you're right it does sound amazing!
