  1. Losing the Cummins and only having an old gas hog engine is going to kill this truck. Guessing it will go from 8-10k a quarter in sales to 4k-5k at best.
  2. Lets keep Race out of this (Sarcasm) 🤣
  3. Just heard on FNC that GM will reinstate their UAW workers Healthcare even though they have lost a $1B now because of this UAW charade. Stories out there that some striking workers are losing their cancer meds and others have to delay surgeries because GM cut off their healthcare. So then why doesn't the UAW cover them with their fat $850k worth of coffers they filled for this strike? They'd rather use the sick employees as a pawn in their chess game...just sad.
  4. It's a real mess. Something the UAW has always been good at is pissing and moaning about more money and benefits. Unions were good and needed back when the Big 3 and the Steel Mills were getting started and needed workers on short notice. Now they're just a bunch of greedy whiners who see that big Corps. like GM that have made good revenue and they think they "deserve" a larger piece of the pie, even though GM has been more than generous with fat profit sharing checks along with great pay and pretty good benefits.
  5. Like I say, Toyota has been "Resting on their Laurels" for far too long. Cut off the bottom of gas pedals for a quick fix not knowing exactly what was causing he unintended acceleration, finally finding or so they said, faulty throttle override software with the drive-by-wire system, never should have made it out of the plant that way. Had a nearly non existent QC Dept. at the time paying temp or barely trained workers $15/hr. to "inspect" the new vehicles as they rolled off the line 🧐 😴
  6. Start heading down a trail..."hey you guys hear that creaking and snapping sound?" 🙄
  7. Damn son you are a big boy. I work out 3 days a week and have a pretty strong core and good tone 6'3" 225 but not stocky I was a lanky bean pole kid 🤣 Ah a C7 ZR1 and a Ferrari 812 Superfast that would be a great race and fun to be a part of! 💪🏻🙌🏻
  8. What were you butt hurt about?😂 I have long legs too and avg. torso don't really have a problem at 6'3" guess I'm lucky I stopped growing haha. I like the seat pretty much all of the way back anyway and long arms reach the wheel just right The C8 seems pretty good sitting in it, but does seem smaller and a bit lower roof panel too, but they do have an alcove for helmets on both sides on the inside of the targa top so it's not too bad and talk about tech laden, wow.
  9. What year of Slade do you have? My Father drives a 2017 Premium Lux and seems to really like it. The interior and seats do get better with the trim levels from Base Luxury to Platinum, in his Premium Luxury the seats seem pretty good and the Platinum I sat in and test drove seemed really nice and cushy front and second row seats, you don't want them too soft or too hard. Hard seats are what Merc is known for, for decades they were buckboard hard as a rock and they're still pretty firm, VW Toureg Wolfsburg Ed. seats were too hard as well. I'm told that the 2021 Escalades will be an even better quality inside and out. It's part of the higher level of luxury that de Nysschen was working on at Cadillac and Carlisle is so far continuing on that path. How tall are you anyway? Maybe you need seat bottom extenders 😁
  10. You don't want to know! Ha! It's a Toyota so you know they have barrels out back for you for a reason...can't say it on here have to keep it PG or Drew gets testy 😂
  11. I'm 6'3" and yes she's pretty much on the ground, but once in, it's go time! My Silverado is my DD much easier to get in and out of being tall
  12. That's because most people are boring and drive an A to B appliance like a Prius.
  13. I almost spit my coffee out with that one "Kwality"? Very few people have that opinion of Lincoln and I'm glad Lincoln is finally trying, it's about time, but they are in a different ball park on a JV team, it's a work in progress. Cadillac shot so far ahead in the last 20 years that Lincoln is just now catching up. You still barely see any Navigators out in the wild, but you do see tons of Escalades and it's not a production issue, they are sitting on the Lincoln dealer lots.
  14. Prius is a total POS! I never said all hybrids are bad driving cars, the ELR and the Volt, both of which I've driven, were and are great handling cars and I think the EREV Voltec platform was a very good one and we'll see a second gen. for sure. I drove the CT6 Plug-In as well and it's pretty quick and great handling. I do like the instant torque you get off the line with electric motors, pretty cool experience, except for the Prius, just the name makes one wince
  15. Well, since Lincoln is in damage control right now with major quality issues, then that would be counterproductive, and why would Cadillac want to look at what Lincoln is doing which is running to catch up with them? Cadillac will always be better than Lincoln, a division that is hanging by a string. The quality and fit and finish of Cadillac interiors as well as the power-train are far superior to Lincoln. If you haven't heard of "The Blackwing", take a look towards the top of this string. The 2021 Escalade will crush the current quite ugly Navigator and the CT cars especially the CT6, there is no comparison.
  16. Imagine having to drive a Prius everyday.....
  17. A Jeep Prius PI? That's sacrilegious! 🙄😁
  18. I do!! Lol Took the C5 out yesterday, was beautiful here in Phoenix. Lets just say I had a few spirited runs to 60 and maybe a lil more
  19. Oh no, Jeep, just NO!! Gonna need charging stations in the hills now as well?! Solar! Oh...wait...HA!!
  20. You ever see the Laurel wood Caddy used in the ELR on the dash and doors? It's like a greenish gray, coworker had one beautiful car inside and out, was just priced wrong unless Leased then it wasn't too bad. Interior puts Tesla to shame big time!
  21. Cadillac has always been a luxury marque to pioneer new technology ie delay wipers, cruise control, more recently Magnaride, TPMS ect. It's where the saying "It rides like a Cadillac" or "It's like a Cadillac" came from. The CT4 interior is a much cleaner minimalist look and high tech rich for sure, just the small silver trim pieces look much nicer. All the large silver pieces in the A and C Class Merc looks cheap, Nissan has always liked to include the large silver trim pieces as well, looks even cheaper in those of course, the S Class and CT6 do it right with real brushed aluminum and carbon fiber, but you pay big for it.
  22. Nice! Super Cruise is awesome, tried it driving a CT6 Platinum I had for Cadillac's 24 hr. test drive. It's pretty accurate and a camera on top of the steering column watches your eyes too "see" if you're paying attention. With dark sunglasses on I tested it by looking at my passenger without moving my head and within 5 or 6 seconds it started beeping and flashing lights in the steering wheel and in the head-up display to alert me, so it saw the whites of my eyes through the sunglasses that's pretty badass really. Kinda like a backseat driver though haha! It stays in the lane really well and isn't jerky or slow to react or too fast to react if someone changes lanes in front of you and that was First Gen. SuperCruise early last year. Second Gen. SC for 2020 is suppose to be much more intelligent too. Pretty soon we'll be having conversations with our cars as we drive, something good to vent our frustrations to that doesn't get overemotional 😆
  23. Coworker had a CTS V-Sport with the 3.6L TT 420hp 430 lb.ft. MagnaRide and eLSD out back it was a quick car that sounded good for a V6, exhaust made it sound closer to a V8 than I've heard in a while.
  24. 640 hp is too much for some it's pretty rowdy, but I like rowdy. It will still be CT4-V, CT5-V CT6-V Blackwing for cars with the Blackwing V8. I love this commercial has a deep heritage and patriotic vibe to it.
  25. Probably a wrapped car. Ton of colors and it looks really good now can't even tell it's wrap.
