  1. the CAW and Ontario government have already started to fight back against Oshawa's closing http://www.thestar.com/article/435968
  2. now ya. but how about when the USD goes back up? not too mention the lost quality advanatges Oshawa had over other plants and the savings in healthcare dollars canada provides
  3. I want to spit on every bastard child that is the Wave and to a lesser extent the G5 I see up here
  4. not surprising that GM is cutting back on trucks but isn't Oshawa one of their best plants? if the Oshawa truck plant got any money as part of the Beacon project a few years back, I hope the Ontario gov goes after GM to get it back
  5. isn't oshawa one, if not the best plant in GM's arsenal?
  6. I'd rather love with a b pillared Camaro then with a Camaro at all
  7. nice to see pics but I have a feeling GM won't be too happy about that being posted online
  8. or maybe throw a 5 or 6 speed manual at it. not only would that help fuel economy numbers, but it would increase the marketability of the car

  11. alphanumerics are fine IMO, as long as its kept consistent, which it hasn't been. as for the name El camino, I agree that if it isnt' a Chevy, it ain't a Camino. Leave it at G8 ST
  12. exactly. and from what I believe he means is it stands now, the Sigma platform does not have this reinforcements so it can't do a convertible. If sigma was modified it could, but it might not make a good business case
  13. do they mean the already made LM002 and the Ferrari 456 GT Sedan? :AH-HA_wink:
  14. in its current form, if it wasn't designed with the required reinforcement to make up for the reduce rigidity that comes with the loss of a fixed roof, then it can't do a vert. and given the engineering and tooling mods required to add it and the decreased fuel efficiency from the increased weight, it might not make business sense
  15. one possibl3 reason they're doing well... http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/news/story?s...&id=3311679
  16. I really hope they bring the Crewman (4 door version) too because as much as I love this vehicle, I just couldn't justify buying something without a back seat
  17. that was teh first thing I saw too the front looks like a cross between a GTR and Infiniti, but not a good cross. I really am not of a fan of the side view of the headlights either
  18. +1 the enemy of my enemy is my friend
  19. no. the interior shot makes it look like right hand drive, but the driving pictures show the driver on the left.
  20. be cool if it were as functional offroad as the old Lambo SUV but these days I doubt it
  21. glad the Torrent will be gone. That vehicle works better in the GMC lineup then it does in the Pontiac lineup IMO
  22. the more I hear about fuel costs and fuel standards, the more interested I am in Alpha then I am in Zeta
  23. lead or GHB based paint?
